Right or wrong, everyone's entitled to an opinion, did you have someone specific in mind to play in front of Pace? I thought they did a solid job rotating the personnel, and for this game at least, Pace was not a liability back there. I see him as a one season place holder until we can sign or draft his replacement.
Looked terrible against a terrible team and needed a gift penalty to have a shot at winning it. Yeah, promising.
I wouldn't say never....but certainly the first time in a while. 2010 season by my reckoning @ Detroit (OT win) @ Cleveland (OT win) v Houston (last gasp win) @ NE (play off win) I reckon we used up three years of luck that season hence the poor 2011 and 2012 meaning we're now back to being owed some from the Gods! Let's hope for more of the same on Thursday night!
True he is a placeholder, he just seems to be skating around out there, he should at least pass rush on every play, hes wasted in coverage
Before the Jets play a team, they are a promising team that has a shot at the playoffs. After the Jets beat them, the team was never good and the Jets got lucky to win and it's bad it took so much luck and Bucs mistakes for them to win.
Need to run better vs Pats..think Ivory should get more carries especially in short yardage, the end around to Kerley on 3rd and 1 was stupid
Our defense only giving up 17 points definitely had nothing to do with it. Our rookie QB who went 24/38 (63.2%), 256 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, and ran for 47 yards definitely had nothing to do with it. Clearly it was just Tampa sucking.
The same could be said about this quote. Seriously. Terrible all around? Did you even watch the game, or are you just trolling?
i think the majority of people commenting are being positive and realistic. the press might spin it differently, but at the moment, i think there's a positive tone in jet-land. not sensing the hate...which is nice.
You people are delusional, and refuse to believe what your eyes tell you. The Jets are a bad team, and this was a bad game. A ref's questionable call gifted them a win. They looked bad in all facets. Acknowledge reality people!
