Yeah, looks like Geno and him are on the same page. Great playing from him today

That's what having a real TE is like. Not 6'2" Dustin Keller.

    He's a soldier! :metal:

I think the Jets have done a great job with him, he can absolutely still play and I bet Belichick is regretful that he didn't sign him. I heard Winslow lost that potential gig because he's an honest man and told Belichick that his knee does cause him 24/7 pain (and realistically it will never go away unless there is some new medical breakthrough where they find a way to drastically turn down pain nerves in a particular area of the body without affecting anything else).

The Jets are doing for him what worked very well with LaRon Landry last year. You give him one practice off per week, have him watch extra tape, and just trust that his veteran skills and experience will make up for missing that practice, and hopefully he stays healthy for the season.

Also nice to see that Winslow wasn't one of the guys who cramped up. I have a feeling he's going to have a big game against New England on Thursday too.

Winslow was a beast. Gonna be big for us if he can stay healthy.

That's why I always say how important it is to have vets on your team. Especially a guy that can be a security blanket for a young QB like Geno.

He's always been really talented . . . he just has to stay on the field. If we can keep him healthy and bring Holmes back up to speed . . . we could have a decent group of receivers and tight ends on our hands.

I would not feel comfortable with Kyle Wilson being the #2 corner.

I remember when Winslow was new in the league and shooting his mouth off, all be it with some good performances for Cleveland to back up the mouth. Seems like he's matured a bit - very happy with his showing today. Let's hope he carries this on for the season

Can I ask what your expectations were for Dee? CB's have one of the steepest learning curves when coming from college its a fact. You can't expect him to come out and completely shut down receivers that's just unrealistic. Hell Cromartie got beat by Jackson badly today and nobody says a word about that. Keep things in perspective my fellow Jets fans.

Some good, some bad, he is obviously a rookie, but held his own.

Noticed that he seemed to be in position a lot, but he did get caught with his back to a ball quite a bit. Also, seemed to hesitate on some quick slant routes.

Winslow really was a great safety valve and did a nice job getting open on broken plays today.

Hoping his body can hold up and he can contribute all season long. He definitely looked good today. And with Cumberland hurt/hurting (not sure of his status), Winslow has to step it up.

You could see signs in the preseason. Geno loves to go to him. Big target who can outrun linebackers and make some open-field moves.

He'll be playing even more with (lumbering) Cumberland out.
