Geno is playing well. There I said it.

Ivory and Powell have 10 rushes for 16 yards. Geno is not Rodgers or Peyton. He cannot play flawless with zero support in the run game. He is on pace for 40 throws. This was never the plan. He has played admirably considering Ivory has been a Gholston-level bust so far

Gonna be an up and down ride with a rookie QB at the helm. Hopefully he steadily improves and develops. We need to be patient.

We are right in this game. Let's take it.

Geno overall has had a decent game. He's a rookie so you have to take the bad with the good. Just as long as he doesn't play Lindley level bad he should be fine.

Smith is a rookie in his first game playing like a rookie in his first game. Get a grip people.

I'm glad we scored, but I don't want people to get overly excited. The only reason that drive didn't end in a punt was due to penalties by Tampa.

The o-line can be fixed. There are some new pieces and it takes time to gel. What I'm seeing are missed calls...not bad blocking. Missed calls can be fixed. When they get the right call they are stoning the Bucs. Not ready to throw the o-line out yet...

Secondary needs work. Milliner looks lost...to be expected though. He missed so much of training camp and didn't really play all that much in the preseason.

All in all...some really stupid mistakes. I thank the Bucs for looking WORSE than we do and keeping us in the game. They don't have any excuses...we can point to our rookie QB. Let's see how the 2nd half plays out.

I like what I'm seeing for Geno, of course with the rookie qualifier though. Looks much better than he did against NYG.

Definitely see the talent there and the arm. The pressure is what he needs to get used to, at times he handles it well and definitely knows his way around the pocket. The other times he messes up he looks up like a rookie. You see that accuracy though, really nice at times.

Does not matter who the QB is, if 1-2 Bucs constantly get in the face of the QB in a mere 3 or so seconds than no good will happen. At all.

The OLine was a farce in the 1st half...shit run blocking and lousy pass protection.
