A bit of a low key matchup but I'm interested to see Kellen Winslow and Jeff Cumberland take on Goldson and Barron. Also with Nicks out how will they deal with big Mo and Sheldon on the inside. Sent from my HTCEVODesign4G using Tapatalk 2
In order pr preference: 1- Play solid smart FB and win the game 2- Play solid smart FB and lose a heart breaker 3- Play like shit on both sides of the ball but pull out an undeserving win 4- Play like shit and lose the game I would leave 2 & 3 like they are....you?
While I truly appreciate the sentiment, a win is a win is a win. Would much rather have a W any day. At the end of the season, if you miss a shot at the postseason by 1 win, the fact that you played well in that loss will be meaningless :-(
I've been waiting for tomorrow 11 am since the Tennessee game last year. I can't fucking wait to watch RR's D cockslap the Bucs. Fuck em. 17-10 Jets win.
I know, it's a tough one. But being game #1, if we play like total dog shit we'd have little or no hope for the season, even if we pulled out a lucky win. I think I rather the team played surprising well, especially on offense. Give a lot of hope to the rest of the season.
I'd be happy just to see a competent offence that can move the ball. we all know the defense will get stronger as the year goes on
Jets win this one by 11! 24-13! LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO! TOMORROW 9:00 am can't come soon enough. Need to crack a nice, ice cold brewskie to start off my fine Sunday morning!
I can see this one coming down to the f final possession. Not sure if I'd be more nervous on offense or defense in that scenario.
A win would be awesome. This team needs it. This fan base needs it. Everyone has shit on the Jets and treat them like a circus that no long exists.
Maybe it's the Jet homer in me, but I really think we can win this game. On offense, I'd like to see a well managed game. We don't need "lights out" play from Geno, just protect the ball, take the short/mid range pass and let the WR's do the work. I would like to see 2-3 long ball attempts to Hill though. Also, would like to see Ivory step up a bit. On defense, the key, I think, will be stopping Doug Martin. Good luck to our Jets!
If the bold happens I hope we don't see a repeat of the 2012 Jets. Things just fell apart after that great performance in week 1 against the Bills.
This time last year Geno was the consensus number 1 pick then he ended up slipping. If Geno sucks this year then Bridgewater could be a possibility. But hopefully Geno plays well enough that we won't need a QB.
