Yeah that's crazy, the cheapest parking pass sold for the game is $25 (Yellow). The average pass is selling for around $40-45 The cheapest ticket sold is $43, upper endzone. Handful of Upper sideline sold at $45 Cheapest row 1 sideline: 344 row 1, $75 each for 4 tickets
Just sold my Section 135, row 26 for $195 each. Not bad considering tickets in my section are going for much less. Having said that, my seats are right on the 20yrd line. Some of the section 135 seats that are going for less are closer to the 10yrd line.
I don't have the data but prices for Bills game went up significantly on stubhub. If there are folks thinking of buying the tickets for Bills game should by before Pats game. I was lucky to buy section 314 for 68 bucks but now that section is above 100 bucks. Still endzones are 50 bucks though. If we beat Pats, I think there won't be much 50 bucks tickets around
So many empty seats yesterday. Also I did notice prices for the Bills game went up. In June seats could be had for $30 a ticket.
This time I am waiting closer to game time...For a season opener there were so many tickets cheap. I want to see the Bills but I will not rush, had a blast this sunday though
more proof that its ticket brokers moving the seats. they saw the jets won and said oh we can get more out of these than we thought so they up the price.
i think thats the way to play it. if we beat new england this week then you will have to wait until an hour before gametime because they will keep the prices higher thinking more people will go. shame is that at this point people arent going to fill that upper deck unless the team ends up playing really really well or geno smith starts to give people the thought he could be special.
it's mostly market forces - on the sell side many STHs were pleasantly surprised and figure either they're going to pull some tickets and actually use them or that the price should go up because it's not actually a crap team. On the buy side, more people saw the Jets aren't going 0-16 and Geno might turn out to be an exciting young QB and now they want to go see him _
he is right...I was in section 347 on Sunday and I bought from a guy selling seats 1-8 in the same row...Guess what? All 8 tickets were bought within 5 minutes and only me and my gf showed up in those seats (had 5 & 6) Its all a game for some of these ticket sellers
For sure, the Jets are obviously dumping their unsold inventory to brokers at steep discounts, and the brokers try to get as much as the market will bear. So they'll be the first to tweak their prices. But I also know a couple people who want to see Geno play for a least a game whereas before Sunday they were going to watch from home, so that new demand is going to buy up the cheapest seats first _
