Peyton didn't not come here because of the OC.. It was the surrounding cast that was not up to par... Peyton calls his own plays.. OC does not matter with him at this point. Whatever the OC calls he is just going to audible out of anyway.
If he had those weapons he could have, he had 5 and 1 his last postseason in 3 games, prorated to 4 it's 7 and 1 which isn't too far behind 11 and 0.
I personally have felt the comparisons to Flacco have been close for a few years...Its just last postseason Flacco took off and Sanchez did not elevate in any areas. Yes the WRs stunk, but who told him to give up the ball so much? The red zone turnovers have to count for something.
We could have Calvin Johnson, Andre Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald as Mark's receivers with Gronkowski, Jimmy Graham as his TE's. And Adrian Peterson, Arian Foster as his RB's and that wouldn't change the fact that Sanchez has shoddy accuracy, locks onto his receivers, doesn't read a defense well, has poor decision making, doesn't have a feel for where the pressure is coming from, always try's to force a pass instead of throwing it away. Sanchez has issues that he doesn't seem to be improving from.
Flacco stepped up big time and had one of the best postseasons ever but he also had a loaded group of weapons, mark has never had half those weapons. The elite guys can win w/ just about anyone but guys like Flacco, Eli, Romo need talent to win. The difference btw a mark and a Flacco is talent around them.
This is pure bunk. Peyton is a mature, team player. He wanted to go to an organization that has a solid FO, and a great coaching staff with whom he could collaborate with effectively. He also wanted a solid offensive team and some input in terms of whom else they may bring in to augment the team. If you think he is a prima donna who will just audible out regardless, you have not been paying attention.
Flacco looked just as bad as Sanchez last night. Funny seeing the man who (at the time) signed the biggest QB contract in NFL history choke like that and the Raven D was like swiss cheese.
Amazing how the grass is greener. Sanchez Flacco both about the same at this point in their careers. If Flacco was on the Jets he would be considered the worst QB in the NFL and and have already been gone. On Baltimore they let him develop got him weapons they won a superbowl and he signed a $20 million contract.
When he went to denver they had no rbs, no te, and d thomas was iffy at best...sorry but that isnt a great comparison.

false false Depends on how one goes about defining the vague term "mid of the pack". He was mediocre at best and played particularly poorly to close the season. Absolutely. Probably bottom 2, actually. And easily the worst tenured starting quarterback in the league.
That along with just about every meaningful statistical merit used to evaluate individual quarterback performance. I guess if you ignore touchdowns, turnovers, completion percentage, yards per completion, yards per play and total passing yards . . . you just might be onto something.

Flacco can read a defense, has a stronger arm, more accurate, has far less turnovers than Sanchez, but of course they're the same.
I pointed out clear flaws in his game, which also happen to be attributes needed to be a successful quarterback in the NFL. How is that useless in this debate?
