John Kerry is full of fucking shit....."we're not getting involved in civil war" well just what the fuck are we doing?

Rep. Doug Collins is grilling him right now. This is going to pass in the Senate we need to keep our fingers crossed that the house has the balls to stop this nonsense.

Finally I heard someone say it, this isn't about Syria. It's about Saudi Arabia and Iran in a power struggle and we are going to do the Saudis dirty work.

And then he doesn't rule out ground troops.

Again, the citizens of this nation do not want this. If they do it,there will be a rift and the publics view on the Gov will never be the same.

It's almost time for the new seasons of everyone's favorite TV shows to start. Do you think the citizens of this nation will even care once it happens?

You almost have to wonder at the timing of this.

exactly we've heard for a week now this was going to be a limited strike as a quote unquote punishment for using chemical weapons. Now both Kerry and McCain have left open the option for ground troops in Syria. We are now getting to a point where are leaving open the door for a full scale war in Syria fighting alongside the very people who wish to bring this country down to its knees. I am thoroughly disgusted and I hope the American people will not stand for this disgrace of our system and allow this joke of an administration to pull the wool over their eyes.

That's right, season premiers, football season etc. This corporately brainwashed nation will be upset for 5 mins, post a facebook status then move along. Then, when the economy suffers for it,they will find some party oriented reason and bitch about that.

I wouldn't count on it. Since 9/11,the people have had the wool pulled over long enough that the Gov has granted themselves unconstitutional power that there is no coming back from. The fear of the muslim boogey man unfortunately worked, and the village has been pillaged.

This is probably going to sound overly argumentative and obnoxious, so I'm going to apologize in advance, but what are you doing about anything besides posting on an anonymous message board to people you don't know spouting off about how much more informed you are about everything?

You're so enlightened about all these conspiracies and brainwashing and such, do something to lead us out of the wilderness.

Or admit that you are just as responsible as everyone else for what we've allowed our government to become.

Can't really argue. And there is nothing I can do. There is nothing anyone can do but not die an idiot

But this is a thread,on the topic ,with many different people stating their different opinions. I've been spouting off here for over a decade about what I feel is going on,and not surprisingly a lot of it is coming true. I don't "know" more tha anyone, but to not acknowledge that some very wrong shit is going on,then people must have something clogging their head

I'm not sure I agree that's all you can do. But if you really think it is, what's the point of working yourself up so much over things? Can't be good for your mental health to go through life feeling angry, powerless and paranoid, even if its warranted.

I have a family, raised 2 kids on my own for 16 years, now married, own a business and am actually pretty happy. I have my feelings on these issues, and they reside here in conversation. But,if something I say somewhere over time makes someone think and look at things differently,i guess I've done something.

I guess a fair way of putting it is that I like my life and the people in it,and don't like the fact that those we hire to protect it,are actually a threat to it.

There's plenty that people can do. But trying to do it on the miscellaneous forum of a football message board isn't appropriate and would be quelled immediately.

Speaking your mind is one thing. Exploring the avenues of activism is quite another. That can be found independently, mostly because it's shamed publicly. But advertising that avenue on one of the most trafficked football forums in the largest media market in the country is not exactly a smart thing to do in this day and age.

And what should he be instead? Ignorant, controlled, and distracted?

The conspiracy stuff is controversial. The overmedication, suppression, distraction and poisoning our society has been subjected to is documented fact.

Instead of arguing about a conflict 8000 miles away, why aren't you concerned about the people in your own country?

Because that is what you are TOLD to pay attention to. Every day on television, on the radio, and on internet news sites.

You are allowed to think you have a free mind because that is what makes you docile. The notion of freedom without the actual freedom.

Fair enough. I wasn't trying to get on your back. Its just that recognizing what you don't like, and why, isn't the same as doing something to correct it. And ridiculing people who post on facebook about it is just another way to let yourself off the hook.

BTW John Kerry and his wife look outraged while having a double date with "Hitler" in 2009.

Oh, I wouldn't make too much of that. He was only the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations at the time.

you guys know where I stand. I think Kerry is a lightweight, a dilletante, and possibly treasonous.

But. In this instance he is right.

We spread coin around the world to grease palms and our interests, and sometimes blood.

But maybe, if we didnt stand idly by and let shit like this happen, we would be better repected around the globe.

Do you think the Iranian dissidents arent watching?

You want a nuclear Iran, with a hostile government...turn your backs on the innocent.
