Figured i'd create a thread to track our practice squad status:

As of now, i believe the 8 man practice squad looks as follows:

    Michael Campbell WR
    Chris Pantale TE
    Dalton Freeman C
    Tevita Finau DL
    Troy Davis LB
    Rontez Miles S
    Danny Lansanah LB
    Junior Aumavae DL

All in all, i like this practice squad personnel.
Looks like Campbell beat out Rogers. Lansanah took the last slot which i like a lot.
I'm kind of surprised Oboushi and Campbell (OL) are on the active roster.
I guess Idzik didn't want to risk losing one of his draft picks, but neither of these guys are ready for prime time yet.
I'm sure there will be more activity on the PS upcoming..
If there is, let me know and i'll update.

I think each of those players on the PS have some upside but need some refinement. Hopefully guys like Freeman, Miles, Davis, etc can make the most of their time on the PS and become contributors in the future.

They kept promising developmental guys for the future, who i liked in preseason.

They kept guys who can contribute to ST if needed (Miles, Lansanah, and Campbell in particular).

And they kept guys in positions of insurance where we didn't roster many (like the D lineman considering Ellis banged up, Campbell considering Holmes questions, Lansanah as we only have 3 ILB's, and Davis considering Coples injury).

Overall, i think a very good job on the PS so far.
I'd still prefer to send one of our rookie Olineman down to PS, and bring back Obamanu though.
