    I see there are some new users on the board and a ton more as guests...Would be good to see a thread around where new blood can stop by and introduce themselves or encourage some guests to register.

    This thread may be somewhere or done already but I don't notice it on the main board

    I expect more Jets fans joining as we get the season going, so whatever football intellect they may have it would be good to welcome them with open arms and get some new perspective around these parts as in the end we all are Jets fans on the best darn Jets message board on the internet. :beer:

    Hello all. My name's Rich, and I live in S. Florida, but I grew up on Long Island. I'm 52 years old and have been a Jets fan since my older cousin turned me onto them back in the late 60's. So, yea, I was a fan when we won the Superbowl, but I was just a kid. It's time for a Superbowl that I'm old enough to drink beer to celebrate!

    and im coming to you LIVE! from Boca Raton, Florida at sunny FAU main campus! Been a Jets fan since 2003 when my dad randomly showed up with a Pennington Jersey and Jets/Dolphins tickets one morning. Havent missed a game since. Like seriously, I have seen every single game since 2003. My knowledge doesnt show it but I was also 10 and growing. It has been a wonderful and heart-breaking experience.

    Hey BrooklynJet, I'm also in Boca! I went to UF, but actually graduated from FAU (a bit too much fun at UF). As the comedian Steven Wright once said "It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it".

    Jets nation is geographically growing. I love it.

    out of curiosity, are you guys or your family originally from NY? How did you get into the Jets?

    How did a guy from Alaska end up rooting for the Jets? I'm relieved there is alot of beer to rinse out the stink of many poor seasons of the Jets lol

    Long time lurker, the board is great for taking the pulse of the fanbase and getting breaking news, as I don't use twitter.
