To negatives, add feeling the rush in the pocket. Seemed like he just didn't feel a lot of the time.

I agree and am excited to see Gino open. IMO this is an obvious step in the right direction.

Not everyone. At this point our best chance to win was w/Mark under Center.

I will say this, we can still win but the D has to put up a killer effort and w/Coples out...it'll be a tall order..

Its a tall order no matter who's behind center. Sanchez would have been good for at least 2 crushing turnovers if he started.

The offense will be better without Sanchez and the defense will be better because they won't spend as much time on the field trying to keep the other team out of the endzone after Sanchez turns it over inside the 20.

When your "future qb" does the same, and or runs outside his own endzone, come back and talk.

Well he's "our" future QB as of now (assuming you are a Jets fan), so you might as well embrace it. Sanchez is done here, and that has no correlation to whether Geno Smith plays well or not.

I'm hoping Simms get the chance and becomes our QB of the future, if not we will have to draft the future next year. Geno is far from any future unless your talking train wrecks.

You do realize that Geno is a rookie right? because otherwise you'd lose a lot of credibility from saying something so asinine.

I'm rooting for the JETS.. I want to win no matter who is back there.

Sure, of course man! I mean Geno hasnt even played a game, but of course he's a train wreck!

As Ive said, you are pathetic. You arent a fan of the Jets. The organization is committed to Geno whether you like it or not. The organization's best interest is for a young talented QB to succeed. Its sad that you want someone at the most important position to fail just so you can be right. I dont see any other reason why you want him to fail so badly. There's a difference between thinking he is not the answer and wanting him to not be the answer. You fall into the latter, and for that are a pathetic "fan".

Check out what LaDanian Tomlinson had to say TODAY about Mark Sanchez.....

LaDainian Tomlinson: 'I don't think Mark (Sanchez) will be a starter again'

"I don't think Mark will be a starter again in the NFL," retired running back LaDainian Tomlinson said Tuesday on SiriusXM's Mad Dog Sports Radio.
"I think there's certainly potential for him to be a backup and then get a starting job for half the year or what have you that way. But I think his days as a full-time starter are pretty much over...."

Dare I say it? I don't think we see Sanchez start another game barring injury or Ryan Leaf type stats from Geno by week 8. They are reporting possibly several weeks for a Sanchez recovery? If Geno is doing okay to great there is no way you can pull him right? This has to work in Geno's favor. You put Sanchez back in there and it's a career killer and Geno losses reps. Although I don't see a lot of teams lining up for Sanchez next year. Mark is in the twilight zone.

never talk in absolutes, unless your talking about death.
everything else is up in the air.

there have been enough 2nd round picks become good qb's that this isn't an impossibility.

Since you're a Sanchez homer, isnt any QB other than Sanchez horrible?
