man i have the jets penciled in for 5-11 and after hearing francessa bash them for the last 30 minutes - i would gladly eat crow and have them stuff an 8-8 campaign up his fat ass.
the one thing that has become obvious is that Mike's Disdain is more about jet ownership and upper front office and that he can't get anyone on his show. He kills ryan and sanchez but defends them for the way the Jets handle them. I like Mike Francessa and his show. Bottom line is what's could for Mike's Ratings is good for Mike and him not being able to have Sexy Rexy on or Sanchez on or any player for that matter I new York is not good for Mike. He takes this out on the Jets.

You are a fool if you think the guys Idzik have brought in are "Unimpressive". They haven't even take a regular season snap yet LOL. They could bust just as much as they can flourish. Who gives a crap if Idzik is a talker or not? Jerry Reese barely speaks up about anything and Mike never says a single thing about him. Judge him by his moves but dear lord give it time...let these players play in some games.

He's gotten Idzik on a few months ago and spoke down to him while he never does that to any other GM. He's had Jets on recently....its on Mike that he takes 2 month vacations during Jets preseason and training camp.

Oh poor Mike. Screw that nonsense. Fatcessa has on several occassions flat out made shit up a la Manish Mehta .... "my 'sauces' tell me..." Example (I'll never forget the disingenuousness of this one): just prior to the 2012 draft, Francessa goes into his opening monologue and then advises his audience just before taking a break that they're not going to cover the draft that day since it's still 2 days away. But before he cuts to his 1st break, he set up this scenario by saying his "sauces" indicated that the Jets were drafting a WR with their 1st pick and from there went on to excoriate the Jets on their stupidity, etc., etc., etc. NOTHING based in fact, a totally scripted/framed scenario that Francesa arbitrarily put together as if gospel truth, in short, a fake target that he manufactured to use as a platform to engage in target practice. It was purely scripted and purely low-brow b.s. That fat punk's Jet body of work is right up there with Patti Smith's armpit.
