I really dont get how everyone sees us as such a disaster. We won 6 games last year with the same or better team and amount of talent. Do people really see us winning 1 or 2 games?
Hopefully this negativity will effect Vegas, then there will be some easy money to make. (Haven't checked the line vs TB yet...)
The Jets won 6 games with a much worse team last year, actually. Terrible Offensive Coordinator and scheme, Tim Tebow, slower defense, etc. However, Mark's injury does play a factor now. Starting a rookie QB, who is not ready to play in the NFL, on a team with a weak roster, can easily drop you to #32 in these Rankings.
if you could put the article or list on the page so i dont have to click espn links. i really dont care to click on anything they do.
How do you throw Tebow into why the jets were worse last year? He didn't even play! Unless Geno comes out as a bonafide starter right away, the Jets will be worse than last year IMO.
You gave 0 reasoning for your opinion, which is par for the course here lately. We had no bonafide starter last year, at any point in the season. Sanchez was one of the worst QBs in the league from week 2 til the bitter end. So the defense gets quicker, potentially better, and the offensive system alone will produce more yards... but we're going to be worse if Geno isn't a bonafide starter?
I think everyone is assuming that the Jets are committed to the rookie QB, and the likely possibility that the season will be of a transitional phase. Not unlike a team with a rookie QB learning a new system. How many so called 'experts' did they pick the Jets to even make the payoffs in Mark's first year?
Changing OC I think will be the biggest difference between last season and this one. I dont blame Tim Tebow the guy never played. The one thing going against us is our schedule is a lot more difficult than last season imo.
No surprise here people, even I will admit that our team sucks. The good news is that the next draft should be full of great quarterbacks.
Tebow factored in more than you think. Sanchez kept getting yanked off the field for Tebow to come in, run up the middle, and ruin any momentum the offense had. Crowd chanted for Tebow to play, etc. Major distraction.
I refuse to click on it, and refuse to feed the troll. ESPN is just like the NYDN. Both are full of shitty reporters who are looking to create buzz with nothing to run on. I just hope we come out and prove them wrong this year.
