One one hand I say F Revis the Greedy player, but, the reality is that Tannenbaum really screwed this thing up with that band aid contract. We should have paid him then and we would still have him. Sucks that he's gone.

Honestly anyone who boos him should be ashamed .... sure he was about the money, but I truly he believe he wanted to stay. He will always be a Jet ... and should be treated as such.

Cant blame this one on Tanny. Revis was determined to be the highest paid player. We couldn't have that in a rebuilding year. If he REALLY wanted to stay, He would have taken less $$$

I'll boo for him next Sunday, but I appreciate his contribution to the franchise and hope he does well in the future when he does not play the Jets.

    I agree...

Not going to get into this too much, but isn't it strange that your new cornerback held out too????

Something is wrong with your front office because we've had no problems since Revis has been here...

    Very well said...

At the end of the day, Revis is a good dude...

You all know that though, many of you are just angry at the loss of talent...

Why would you have problem with Revis now? U guys gave him his $16mil he wanted but just wait until he has a big year. He will hold out for a fat contract. Not that year to year crap he signed this season. The headache will become the Bucs. Good luck.

To be fair, none of it is guaranteed.

I only picked "BOOOOOOOO" because of Revis' 2 holdouts... I still respect him as a player and as a person, just not as a contract negotiator.

You just acquired him in april. ??? And you guys appeased him with a ridiculous contract. The contract works out for Tampa Bay because of the no guaranteed part, but its really only a realistic option if you think he's going to be the one missing piece to a superbowl team. Do you think Tampa is that kind of team? There is a salary cap, how long can you realistically keep Revis on your team?
