    FUCK

Yeah, let's keep Sanchez instead... I mean, Mark's been looking completely revamped in the new scheme - it's not like he's been looking EXACTLY the same. Fucking bullshit.

McElroy was mentoring Geno and should've been kept for that reason alone, instead we're keeping Mr Headband who Geno can learn -nothing- from, not even from watching him in practice.

Let's see if BB picks him up, he could be a solid backup to Brady and a perfect fit in their offensive scheme. The fact that he knows every single nook about our playbook for BB to revel in, is just the cherry on top.

McElroy could make for an awesome coach one day, I wouldn't be surprised if he's been offered to get into coaching already now.

Smart GM's don't waste roster spots on coaches. McElroy isn't an NFL talent.

I can see him going to be backup in Green Bay too. The Packers, cut Vince Young.

Looking at their complete packages, Sanchez is even less of an NFL talent. It's become obvious you can't fix Mark's brain.

If you have two players of equal playing ability, and both serving as backups to the starter - wouldn't you keep the guy that adds value to the team even when he's sidelined (and took great pride in it) by being an MM2, instead of the other guy who'll add little to nothing but distraction?

I just can't see the downside of cutting Sanchez and put some of the cap hit on this year, while I could see the upside of instead keeping McElroy around until next year.

I'm very convinced MM could work around a noodle arm, had McElroy been forced to start.
    But he can't fix stupid.

Finally, we grow a pair of balls.

Simms is going places and we need him on our team. I am talking beyond Sanchez and Geno even. This is going to get very interesting now with "the competition."

McElroy is probably going to be a Buffalo Bill. They only have one healthy QB, the Rookie FA who is starting.

McElroy was released with an injury meaning he could end up on the IR still

I'd be surprised if Mcelroy isn't take by the Bills or another qb-lacking team.

Yes I read the same thing that he was waived/inured meaning if no one claims him on waivers he is going to IR and then will likely be back next year. It will be his second year on IR in 3 years.

Dwyer sucks. He's worse than all of our RBs.

Is Brian Banks any good? Or is his name just known because of his story?

I wouldn't say he sucks. He's nothing special but he's a serviceable back.

I'd say no to all these guys.

It's a real shame about Brian Banks...unfortunately his football window has passed. All is not lost, though. I believe I read that Arthur Blank (owner of the Falcons) offered him "something" with the team. If I'm Brian I take that and run with it.
