I thought it takes three years to judge a draft class, not half of the first training camp. Last time I checked, Milliner has not missed an NFL game yet.

I'm excited to see this kid play. Thing we have to remember is rookie corners usually struggle their first year. I know this thread isn't questioning his skill set (for the most part), but like others have already pointed out, he's only missed 1 game in his career. Maybe it's 2 now if he misses this upcoming preseason game, but who cares, it's preseason.

This guy has all the potential to be great. I don't want him to be Revis. I want him to make his own name.

Honestly, we can't predict that he won't be as good as Revis at this point. We didn't know Revis would turn out to be as dominant as he is. Watching Dee play, you can't help but see that he plays with Revis' same play style. They're really similar when it comes to body size and speed, Dee just needs to put it together. Even if he isn't as good as Revis, he can be a very good player for the Jets.

Yea, right, as if Amendola will be able to take Cromartie to school while that "all-pro" in Julian Edelman makes Milliner look like a bust. Because that's who Dee Milliner will be shutting down; Edelman.

I couldn't care how great Tom Brady is, without Woodhead, Hernandez, Gronkowski, Lloyd and Welker of last season his WR's aren't making any top flight CB's look stupid.

Peterson is still a bit over rated. Gave up 6 touchdowns last year.

As for the Milliner argument, it's been 2 pre season games and not even worth discussing. Let the guy play for Christ sake.

Milliner is the least of our worries.

The kid is a stud! As a Bama fan i watched him absolutely shut down every #1 WR he faced, was a strong tackler, elite speed and ball awareness.

He might not be elite in the NFL as a ROOKIE but he will be a Pro Bowler in a few years.

The people on this website make it so much more depressing to be Jet fan sometimes. Can we just root for our players to do well and support them till they proven to us otherwise

Old news. He's had the calf injury but they said 2 days ago that he is still expected to play week 1. His injuries are a bit concerning but until he starts missing real game time I won't worry too much.

Problem with Milliner, is that the backfield was good last year, and it seemed like a PR replace Revis pick.

They could have taken Richardson, Eifert, and HoneyBadger to play the slot.

Matthieu is a more dynamic player, and the trade off is suspect personal history, versus injury history, one is correctable, the other magnified at this level.

God forbid they should draft a skill player to help, rather than hinder their QB.

Consider, the Pats play a game constructed around the insode which renders your outside guys far less valuable.

I agree, I was going to say the same thing. It's a shame, but some guys are just plain not tough enough for the NFL. (or not durable enough)
