Jets will win 10 games this year if Mr Sanchez can improve on his turnover/TD ratio and minimal key injuries. The team has improved overall from last year. If Sanchez falters and they bring Gino in - Jet's wins will drop like a lead ballon
hmmmmm, the concerns for a roof? does the fact that G. Smith growing up in a warm climate and attending college in a mild climate such as V Virginia have anything to do with this?
offensive talent equal to last year--maybe the line will be a bit better. Offensive planning is 5 times better. I do not think 7 or 8 is crazy.
One of our QB's is easily one of the 2 or 3 worst QB's in the league. The other is an unproven rookie with 3 Quarters of preseason experience under his belt. QB is the most important position on the field in the NFL and no other position is a close second. Do you see the problem here?
head says 5-11..just dont think secondary will hold up... heart says 12-4 and Kyle Wilson is next Revis ... odds on head winning!
Losing Landry and the presence of Revis on defense isn't going to be made up for by Richardson and Milliner this year. Their offense isn't appreciably better either, they made incremental improvements everywhere except QB but the running game may actually be worse if (when) Ivory breaks down as he inevitably will.
Eh it could be just as simple as the QB play has resumed being awful in the preseason and the starting RB hasn't exactly shown much yet.
NO QUARTERBACK NO RUNNING BACK NO RECEIVERS NO LINEBACKERS ONE DEFENSIVE BACK VLAD DUCASSE STARTING CLUELESS HEAD COACH King's prediction is perposterous. It's wildly optimistic.
Again watching different games. Mark has looked sharp and powell has looked pretty good especially out of the wildcat.
You know...I forgot ONE wild card we all keep leaving off the list of offensive talents. We did just get Santonio Holmes back. He'll start week 1 I bet. Now, of course, this is a 50/50 proposition. Either he comes back and is a complete hack or he comes back, realizes he has ONE more good contract left to play for and lights it up. That can't be ignored as a plus from last year's team. Certainly takes the pressure off Hill to be the number option.
Pessimism Mr. Valentine has set the price at 11. This team is light years better than last years six win squad And the NFC South gets way too much repect.
King is an ASSHOLE and couldn't identify a football from a basketball .... This team is no worse than 7-9 / 8-8 and your list is a JOKE ....
Samchez, is an able QB. Powell, and Ivory are good wnough, and Goodson comes back week four, Hill, Kerley,Holmes, are prettygood. Cro,Miiliner? Even Landry. Plus, rex has always gotten production out of mediocred DBs. Not named Eric Smith.
Losing Revis? We lost Revis two years ago...you know, that whole season ending injury thing last year So Milliner bumps Wilson down into the slot, the DBs are better. Landry is a bit of a drop off from Landry, but the better DL helps that And, as far as the offense not being better, you are completely out of your mind. Zach posted a thread on it. http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=78485
A) Powell is not the starting running back (I was talking about Ivory) B) He might not even be on the active roster in four weeks, since they don't like his pass protection skills Revis played four or five games, you can't pretend he didn't exist last year. Yes the offense has to be better by default because of Morningwheg > Sparano but then again at this time last year we thought Sparano > Schotty. The talent really isn't that much better though. Say what you want about Shonn Greene, he was a durable 1000 yard back. They don't even have that now. Ivory's more talented yes but he's made of glass and Goodson's a clown.
