For Harrell it is his chance to get on film for a quarter and hopefully some other team sees something and picks you up. This guy is playing for his next paycheck.
shit id sign up to play for free, let alone get paid for it... who cares if hes not getting a legit shot at starting, hes getting paid to play a professional football game. its always worth it if you love the game
If Sanchez didn't suck the thread would have died within days of being started, maybe a week at the outside. The only reason it's the main thread on the board right now is that Sanchez does indeed suck and he keeps providing evidence to add to the thread. The huge issue with him is the turnovers and true to form in limited exposure this summer he's already thrown a pick-6 and a red zone int. The most amazing thing though is that neither of those throws were in his worst series of the summer. That's the one that started at the other team's 3 yard line with time on the clock and saw him run that time out for the opposing team...
We've also seen every one of those ridiculous indefensible mistakes staunchly defended by Sanchez fans. I'll never understand the mentality.
Sanchez sucked last year, no QB would have succeeded w/ our healthy talent last year. Some of us see reality, others think mark was the sole reason we sucked. That is a mentality I will never understand, then again I understand the game.
even holly mangold would be an upgrade over el taco. sorry, but I just can't let that statement go unchallenged.
we hear the el taco lovers explain last two years as ' lack of talent around him' which ignores the Arizona game, as an example. another qb was able to win using the same talent against the same other team under the same conditions. can hardly wait ( as scott said) to see what this year's excuses are.
you shut down the ' hot chicks' thread before this one! hard to believe , since that was a far more entertaining one.
you know we won it running the ball, right? how did the other QB fare against a bad SD team when he started?
Wasn't by choice.. Google has a thing against hot chicks so as the saying goes, money talks.. On a sidebar, only 123 more posts and we crack 16,000! C'mon you slackers, post your asses off!
he actually fared better than el taco did against the titans or the pats. rather take sacks than hand turnovers to the other team. a number of people stated even on tv that had McElroy started that game, the jets would have still been in contention. rex got called out for starting el taco, for good reason!:metal:
what was the result? we got blown out at home by a bad team. who said if McElroy started we would have been in contention? I need names and links b/c those people should never be allowed to discuss football again.
Don't forget the titans game which he did lose for the Jets. The titans gave the Jets that game on a platter and sanchez threw 4 picks. At least 2 were horrible.
