It'll be in the new Sports Illustrated football preview issue.

Regrettably, I don't think the bar has been set abnormally low. We may do better but 5-6 wins at best.

We really could be bad. Even if Sanchez or Geno Smith play 'well' -- who are they throwing to?

Who is running the ball ?

Is this an OL that is anywhere near as good as those from 2009-11 ?

Is this D minus Revis anywhere as good as those from a few years ago ???

I get why expectations are low, but they won six games with the shittiest offense in the NFL. I think the 6-8 win range is where we'll land. You know the pundits will low ball us regardless, especially an NE ball washer like King.

Agreed...10 wins if we really surprise and a couple of these so called juggernauts are as bad as I think they are going to be.

They HAVE to pick a team to suck this year and the Jets are the defacto favorite. Unfortunately, I never figured Peter King as one to buy into the fringe media bullshit but clearly he is. I lost a little respect for him just now.

This team has no receivers, no running backs, a few wholes on the OL, and a rookie QB that will take his lumps. The games this team will win this year will be on the defense but no way is the defense good enough to win 7+ games. If people really believe that, they are in for a rude awakening.

We have no head coach. 3-13 is actually generous.

Honestly, these are the years the Jets usually succeed. if you look at their past, they are never good when they're supposed to be (99, 2011), and are great when no one expects anything of them (06, 09)

5-11 would be a reasonable prediction. Anything underneath is just to get a reaction.

While teams got better, the Jets have gotten better from last year too. I don't think their QB play can be as bad as last year or their play calling. We played the majority of last season without Revis anyway and the D managed to keep us in the majority of games minus one or two clunkers.

The Jets also get to play the Bills twice, the Dolphins twice, Titans, Raiders, Panthers, and Browns. Maybe one of them gets hot this year, but none of them are juggernauts. I find it hard to believe barring major injuries we don't take 3 games from that bunch and then 1 or 2 somewhere else.

Rex's teams will never win 3 games or less. The defense he brings will win us at least 5 games alone.

Did nobody watch preseason? Geno threw three picks and a safety and the Jets still beat the Giants. How can anybody watch this preseason and think we are any worse than last year when we did score a td.

I think we'll finish with 6 wins, 7 at best and 5 at worst. Anyone who thinks we're in for a .500+ season or the laughably high 11 or more wins some people are predicting are going to be in for a shock.

I don't think we only win 4 games though, that's just to get a reaction.

    Ever heard of Rex Ryan?

No running game to speak of yet
    Still no starting calibre QB
    Slow LBs
    Depth at CB

Hmm, not so sure. No Revis this year, and no Coples right now, we are slow at LB and potentially dodgy at CB, not going to happen this year Bro, but they'll be good for what they are.
