Mcknight was a predictable cut, although, like others, I think he will catch on somewhere else and do good things. The cuts that surprise me more are Peterman and Span. The Jets must be expecting Goodson to be able to do something if they cut Span, they are already shaky at RB.
I hear everyone on "Braylon doesnt play ST" but didnt we know that before he signed? Not sure why now all of a sudden that would be why he's cut. Seems much more likely its just cause he isn't good enough.
Aww that sucks. He kinda disappeared when he was on the field though, as far as I saw. Still too bad.
No way man, it would cause far too much confusion to have D'Brick and Da'Rick on the same roster... Btw, where did this trend of throwing random apostrophes into kids' names come from? I just don't get it...
As far as Hayden goes, that really sucks. I had hopes like others that he could really turn out to be a top TE. I guess I should have known better, and just seen it was a pipe-dream, but I guess I wasn't exactly rambling on about how he was going to be top dog. About Da'rick, weren't all the Bill homers going off the rails about how he was doing sooooo great, and they'd make us pay for not drafting him???
He got cut because Holmes became available for the start of the season. Massaquoi may make the team or he may not but Holmes made a solid 5 receivers and without Braylon in the mix. Really a rebuilding team has to promote youth. Zack Rogers may make it onto the practice squad but I'm guessing the Patriots grab him if nobody else does. It's not like their WR's are tough vets who can be counted on to play all season. On Hayden Smith, it was him or Konrad Reuland. That's an easy call at this point.
Running back Chad Spann, offensive lineman Patrick Ford, offensive lineman Trey Gilleo, wide receiver Joe Collins, wide receiver Marcus Rucker, wide receiver K.J. Stroud, wide receiver Rahsaan Vaughn, linebacker Sean Progar-Jackson, defensive back Donnie Fletcher, defensive back Bret Lockett, punter Ryan Quigley and long snapper Patrick Scales were the other players let go on Monday. Plus McKnight, Peterman, Braylon and Smith 15 total thought it was 17 Because the original quote was McKnight among 14 cut along with late cuts being Peterman, Dougie and Aussie But there it is
Congrats, you have just won the award for worst post in the topic! Ducasse is the future! I figured they'd keep Edwards around for a bit. Surprised Peterman is gone, and McKnight must have had further health issues. That's the only way I see him getting cut. Goodson will be back week 5. I guess we're rolling with Bohanon, Powell and Ivory in the meantime.
zach rogers will absolutely make is to the PS ... he has not shown enough for any team to carry him on their 53
