Even if it isnt anything too serious, this will be an issue going forward because it is his throwing shoulder. He only will continue to get hit throughout the season and shoulder injuries are quick to come back due to the highly unstable shoulder socket. This all doesnt bode well for this season, not that we had any hope anyway. Side note: Hill continues to try to catch the ball the weirdest ways. What is with this guy.
and fumbled the next play! I really dont get the hype this year around him. Watching him play, he just doesnt pass the eye test as a legit NFL WR
he isnt the worst starting QB in NFL history. he is only the worst starting QB in NFL history among guys who have started 50+ games. there have been plenty of guys who started 8 or 10 games then wound up bagging groceries. sanchez is better then a shop rite employee. as far as what makes him worse, its a combination of things: -Horrific, legendarily bad decision making, like the pick 6 in game 1 -inability to learn from mistakes -horrible accuracy -incapable of protecting the football there is no one worse who has started 50+ games. in fact, there is no one even close to as bad
INJURY UPDATE @AdamSchefter: Jets QB Mark Sanchez has a bruised right shoulder joint, per league source.
so, bruised shoulder as i and others here suspected. not a big deal at all. maybe now the media assclown posse can stop freaking out as if this was the greatest travesty in modern nfl history. Good grief the media idiots on NFL Network and to a lesser extent Sirius were unable to stop talking about this minor incident. BTW Sanchez was playing well at the time of the injury. Hopefully Sanchez quickly clears up the BS cimini rumors that Sanchez was upset about being told to go in.
Well, this injury will tell us what the Jets really think of Geno. It allows them an easy way to setup Geno to start with the excuse of an injury if they believe he can step in. If they dont think he's ready, it will be clear.
Brian Costello @BrianCoz 4m Was told Sanchez does have bruising in shoulder but it's a symptom of the injury, not the actual injury. Not just a bruise, in other words Expand
Shefler is saying bruise but until he throws they don't know how long he will be out...he has 2 weeks.
