Sanchez wasnt going anywhere this year. That has been said many times due to his contract. And I honestly dont know if Garrard was going to do anything anyway.
Laugh, your retort is that Sanchez had less to work in his 4 seasons as a Jet than any starting QB to start 4 consecutive seasons in the NFL for the last 63 years is laughable at best. Look no further than the Aints teams that Archie Manning had to deal with. and he was a pretty miserable QB anyways but god those teams were just awful in every facet of the game...and Sanchez STILL ranks lower than he does when compared to their contemporaries.
Because of his contract, not because of his ability, Garrard's career stats suggest he would have started, and Geno could have been worked in slowly
Oh so Kerley is the reason that Sanchez can't hit him in stride when he's wide open down the field? Good to know.
Not hitting a receiver in stride on a percentage of throws is what makes Mark the worst QB in NFL history? Great to know.
Sorry, but by no means was he a "developing" quarterback last season . . . he was in his 4th year. It was go time. He shit the bed and played some of the worst football I've seen from a Jets quarterback since . . . maybe Brooks Bollinger?
Fair enough . . . but I have to wonder what you have been watching if you sincerely believe that Mark's routine turnovers don't resemble those of a wide-eyed rookie.
Nothing new. He's getting an MRI today, no results back yet. No broken collarbone which the XRAY confirmed/showed last night according to Cimini.
I dunno man. I think his shoulder is fried. If he is okay then let the rebound begin. I guess we have Geno. In that case let the project begin. You can't sit there and tell me that this looks anywhere promising as far as the QB situation goes. I see a long year ahead. The other two guys will not be allowed to compete for this job and now they are entertaining bringing QB's in to take a look at. Throwing in the towel? No. Getting ready to weather the upcoming storm as a fan? Yes.
