this game just demonstrates the will and tenacity that Sanchez possesses. It's his character that allows him to succeed with the trash around him in a way that few other quarterbacks are able. you put in eli manning in sanchez's situation and he won't be able to overcome the adversity that sanchez has to put up with.

We'll be drafting Clowney. I don't see any way we're not the worst team in the league.

Based on what? Eli has led two Super Bowl game winning drives with under 5 mins left in the 4th quarter. Fuck outta here with that shit.

you gonna bring up eli's rings but not his offensive line and opportunistic defense? Eli manning was a nobody and consensus bust until 2008, how come no one affords sanchez the same opportunity?

    116 qb ratings vs 47

SAME GAME. The quarterback competition was officially pronounced dead when Rex proclaimed Geno to be brutal, somehow revived but finally buried after today

Coples is hurt, and Clowney???? So one proven player in Wilkerson with NO OFFENSE will be enough to keep us from the cellar? When you have two QBs are bad as ours, no receivers, the odds of use finishing bottom five are near guaranteed, worst in the NFL is very likely IMO. It will be a battle between us, the Raiders, the jags, and the Bills.

Our defense and offensive line are miles better than the Raiders, and it ain't like their QB situation is the envy of the league right now either. They've got McFadden and better receivers, that's it. They don't have anyone to block for DMC or get the ball to the receivers.

no what's amazing is you posting on this board with an avatar like that. stop instigating and preaching gloom and doom.

SOJ fans are intimidated because I rep the new school of jets fans who aren't afraid to dream big and aim high and don't spend entire time complaining about the perceived inadequacies of their franchise.

You rep the new school of trolling. Nice try though. Btw, whats your excuse now in year 5 that Sanchez still cant throw a screen pass or catch a snap?

I never claimed Sanchez is a game manager or an executor type of QB. I always called him what he is a hot dog, riverboat gambling, gunslinger play maker type.

To maximize his talent and accentuate his abilities you gotta stop with these BS screen passes that aren't fooling anyone and let him air it down the field and make plays when the pocket breaks down.

Sanchez is closer to Rodgers than he is to Peyton Manning

Sanchez is not a gunslinger. He does not have the accuracy, timing, decision making or the arm strength to be a gunslinger. At best he is a game manger that cannot manage the game. Not sure where you get this making plays when the pocket breaks down from. Sanchez is terrible under pressure. Rated last on the league when put under pressure. when the pocket breaks down he goes down. The idea for Sanchez to succeed is not to let him throw in situations where he can be stressed.

The one thing Geno had going for him before tonight was he wasn't Sanchez. The one thing Sanchez had going for him before tonight was his durability. Look how that worked out tonight. God I can't stand this team.
