I think NBC messed up their 3rd down cnversion talbe at the bottom of the screen. They said the Jets were 2/11 and the Giants 5/10?
I don't think anything Sanchez could do would change anyone's opinion on him. The coaches have seen it all. They will say that Sanchez gives them a good chance to win, but the QB competition is going to be decided on Geno's play. As delusional as Rex is about Sanchez, he knows that the only way that he could salvage his job is if Geno has a good season and the Jets have between 7-9 wins. Sanchez can't salvage Rex's job.
So true, but the games will count soon, do we risk going through rookie struggles? are Sanchez's any worse? this is what they have to ask. trial by fire or is there more to gain by developing him under the radar? this of course after a prerequisite assumption that they think he's better than Sanchez.
Our running game may be more concerning than our passing game right now... And our passing game doesnt look too good.
I just don't understand why this organization sucks so much at evaluating talent. The number of times we've reached on players with 'high ceilings' or players that are 'unpolished' is frightening. For just once I'd like to see us take a skill position player in the first round that's pretty much a lock to be a stud. We have to take a receiver next year in the 1st round
