I freaking hate that. It used to be like that every game last year with Mark. Now after seeing these 3 picks its starting to be the same. It's a terrible feeling.

It really does. There's been a lot of people saying that our OLine looks really good, but I don't see it. They are pretty good in the pass, but so far in the preseason I haven't seen them open up 1 whole for the RBs. Now that I remember, where's my boy McKnight?!
Need more drives like that. If Gino played like that the first half, he would have been the starter. Great job by Powell on that TD.
I really like our OL pass blocking. I think the playcalling with the screens and quick hits help, but they held some cleanish pockets. Run game I'm not seeing it peronsally.
Yeah I haven't seen the run game at all. I remember that 30 something yard run by Powell but that was in the Wildcat. There's just 2 or more defenders on the backs as soon as they get to the line.

Yeah maybe it can get better, but it seems we will need the short pass to help out the run a little bit.
Good drive, a couple of nice throws. I'm not really worried about the picks today. Definitely behind the receivers early and that is caused by the game being to fast for him, that will change with time. The pick to Tuck was a well disguised zone blitz, a good call against the offense we were running up to that point and a play that gets most quarterbacks, so to expect a rookie to be prepared for it in his first start is nuts. Playing poorly in the first start does not make a player bad, how they respond and grow determines if they will have a good career.
