Obviously, they really liked Dee Milliner as a prospect. Given the way the Jets drafted, I believe they went BPA throughout.

Wilson will play a lot. He'll play all the time in passing downs and he'll have a few roles. He's not a great player by any stretch, but he's not bad, and he's still young where it's possible he can improve. Especially given this new role.

When the Jets drafted Wilson, the Jets had Cromartie with one year left on his deal and Revis heading into a holdout. I'm sure the Jets would have loved him to be good enough where he could be a good slot cornerback as a rookie and develop into an outside guy if one of them let go. Clearly, the Jets don't think he's good enough in Rex's system to become a full-time starter.

Doesn't mean he still can't have a valuable role.

Anyone remember Mickens. Now there's a guy who could play nickel as a number 3. Kyle doesn't get the love Mickens got.

Wilson is yet ANOTHER Tannenbaum first round error. File him in the bin with Vernon Gholston, Sanchez, Keller and second round picks like Vlad Ducasse. Wilson sucks on the outside and only a little less in the slot.

Jeebus help us. We've been completely invaded by trolls. It must really suck for the Pats to be such a media circus these days.

Wilson looks terrible tonight, getting abused.

How many years in the league and he still can't turn his head when he's making contact to at least make it look like he's playing the ball? If he doesn't get it yet, he never will.

He is trash. Does he not know that if you do not try and locate the ball, that you will be called for PI every time? EVERY FUCKING TIME. Smh.

In fairness, Wilson does a great Tony Sparano impression when the ball is thrown 20 yards over the head of the guy he is covering.

    So....there's that.

To be fair he's a nickel corner covering a top 10 receiver.

LOL he's a first round pick, he wasn't rafted as some 4th round nickel corner. This was the worst excuse I've ever heard for the guy.

Is he not our nickel corner? Nickel corner is a very important position in today's NFL.

I never said he wasn't a disappointing 1st round pick, but he is what he is. No team hits on all their 1st rounders, the 49ers just traded away their 1st round pick after 1 year and they have a very well regarded GM.

 Couldn't word it any better. He thinks he's tough shit when he gets lucky on any play. It's sad when my long term memory of him is either a play where he gets beat, playing too loose, or a play where the ball gets overthrown and he waves his finger like he's actually an NFL caliber CB.
    Ohhhh you got him!! BURN

Not every first rounder is gonna be a stud. The year we drafted him, We had the 24-27th pick and we took a shot on a guy that was top 10 talent up till days before the draft. Guess we were the only team that didn't know he can't turn his head around while keeping pace with NFL WR's.. Cut him rex. All the other DB's played a lot better. Even cro tried to help him all offseason...
