There's a middle ground before being ready and being completely lost. That middle is the #2 spot. Let him learn in blowouts, but don't let him start just yet.
So our defense looks promising I think. The offense has throw away so many points and the Jets have been down by single digits at halftime all 3 games. That's positive right?
You know what's sad, is aside from the 3 interceptions Geno is looking better than manning today....not that that's saying much mind you.
I dont get the running plays there... Seriously, what is the worst that can happen, Geno throws another pick? Big f'ing deal at this point. They had they ball with 1:50 on the clock and 2 timeouts. Try and drive 60 yards and kick a field goal and leave on a good note.
So we are at the half and except for that long run we have held the Giants O in check. Defense looking very good I have to say Richardson to like a starter day one.
one thing I hate is that Geno has to play perfect football to start while Mark doesnt Sanchez 2 INT's(pick 6 and RZ pick), 1 almost picked and saved Smith 3 INT's(one not bad, one horrible and one was just a great disguise by the D)
The Jets defense has looked acceptable vs the pass, but it's still getting gouged way too much on the ground. Even in today's pass happy league you just can't have that.
Ya but its only preseason, so you can't count what the defense has done as a positive, just like you can't count what Geno has done, as negative
So Sanchez can suck for 4 years and he still should get a shot. But a rookie looks bad in one game and that means Geno is gonna suck forever.
