As is Geno. And Eli has won 2 Superbowls. People calling for Geno's head are ridiculous and are just jumping to conclusions. This is his first start, against a great pass rush and he is playing like a rookie, it happens..
No we wouldn't. We would be contending for a WC spot, but would do a bad job in the playoffs against quality opponents. Every WR Brady and Manning and Brees touch all of sudden play great with them. IT's because there at that top tier and they can lift a team during a regular season. Now I do agree if we had Eli, Cutler, Stafford, Ryan, and those second tier QBs, we would still be bad. But that top tier, nahh they could bring us to 9-7 area and WC contention.
I love how some people try to defend Wilson. We don't say he sucks because we're "spoiled watching Cromartie, and Revis." We say he sucks because he fucking sucks. Undrafted players look better than him. He draws flags left and right. He allows catches nearly every drive. He is terrible, he is a bust. Fuck him. I hope we let him walk when his deal is up.
the only question left is do the Jets suit Geno as the #2 or let McElroy be the back up and put Geno in sweats the first month
But just because Mac and Geno have been bad doesn't mean Mark isn't bad as well. If you put Aaron Rodgers on this team, it would be going to the playoffs. Kerley would putting up the same numbers as Randall Cobb, Hill would be putting up the same numbers as Jordy Nelson, etc. QBs make the weapons, not the other way around.
Why would you do that? Geno is #2 most likely so if Sanchez has an ARZ type first half Geno comes in.
Not calling for his head, I still think he's a better long term solution than Sanchez, but then again Sanchez has never been more than a bottom 1/5 of the league QB so it doesn't take much to be a better solution. But it's pretty clear that as of this moment right now he's not ready. Sad part is as bad as he's been today, and i'm just talking about today, he's not been that much worse than Sanchez who put up most of his good numbers when the 2nd and 3rd teamers came in.
All jokes aside, i actually have a headache watching geno play, and to think theres at least another quarter of this.. And wilson is helping either..
I think that dumbass rule went out the window. Teams don't have to designate a guy as inactive 3rd QB anymore. All three can play in a game.
I was hoping the Giants would run PA out of that and pass. Want to see our LB/DL/S in coverage on that type of GL play. A common one these days in the NFL
