Even if Geno is perfect from here on out, it's hard to imagine him winning the starting job after that throw.
Yeah the first one was just a bad throw. Right read I think, just a bad throw. The second one was a bad decision, trying to make a play on 3rd down when it wasn't there. Looked like a Sanchez/rookie pick. Couldn't step in either to get it to drop
We've seen some good and some ugly with Geno, let's just give it a little more time before we throw this guy under the bus.
That last pass by Geno was absolutely horrific, cant even blame the lack of recievers for that, he just threw it to no one.
Rex should try a novel approach, Start Geno and let him play 2 quarters, and let Sanchez play 2 quarters all season. Then see which turnover machine is truly worse. My guess, Sanchez 25 to's, Geno 23.
The only grace I'll give Geno on the two picks is they were both on throws of roughly 20 yards or more. That's not much of a grace but I'll forgive picks on long passes a little more than short passes. That said, you still can't throw picks.
This what happens with a rookie QB in his 1st start. It will take time for the game to slow down. But unlike a 5th year QB he will improve with reps. Lets see how he responds to adversity.
This forum sometimes is freaking hilarious. The bias and flip flopping that is going on is all Sig worthy. Sent from my LG-VM670 using Tapatalk 2
