There is really no way to leverage this case to create civil unrest. Obviously, it will continue to be ignored. I had heard about this, but up until today, reading this thread, I had no idea about the race of the parties involved. Everything was about "bored".
It seems to me a true leader of the black community and someone who is supposedly about racial equality would shun this type of behavior. Instead we get crickets. This was an obvious racially charged hate crime. Don't act like it's just another murder.
These guys got arrested and I bet will do time.. Zimmerman got off with killing a teen. I think that a majority of Americans are more pissed at that aspect. The fact that people keep continually playing this race bullshit to feed their own "Justification" of being a bigot, racist or Xenophobe is actually pretty fucking amusing but pathetic.
The situations were totally different, Zimmerman wasn't out killing for fun, b/c he was bored. His was in self defense.
people were pissed at Zimmerman before the verdict because of their own preference to be ignorant to the facts. the only thing amusing but pathetic is your dishonest attempt to claim the anger at the Zimmerman case began with the verdict. people wanted him guilty before a single shred of evidence was presented in court.

As long as we continue to stare at our blue screens the powers that be will continue to use media and consumerism to further dumb us down. The difference though is despite the fact that Zimmerman was an overzealous douchebag he broke no laws. He made nothing known that he disliked black people, now we can agree that ignoring the dispatcher was stupid but it's not illegal. He got attacked and while we'll never know if the force he used was warranted the law in Florida is pretty clear. he felt his life is in danger so he acted within the law as the law doesn't take into account stupidity. The media/politicians and race dividers like Sharpton and Jackson had him guilty before he even went to trial. Those very same people are saying nothing. Why is it you never hear Sharpton denouncing black on black violence? Because he can't make a buck off of it.
