I don't really get the phrases though. They don't sound like any kind of cliches you hear in sports interviews, that I can recall at least. They sound awkward.

I also noticed RR apologized for predicting a top 5 D today. It looks like Idzik is putting the muzzle on the organization. I'm all for it, but apparently it's impossible with this slimey little bastard Mehta, who's agenda seems to be to embarrass the team.
Mehta and the rest of the beat writers are upset now that the circus has left town. The Jets are just another mediocre NFL team this season with typical on the field stories and its not fun for the beat writers anymore. That is the problem they have now. I personally love it and think that this should have been the Jets posture in 2012 after the way 2011 ended. Football only with an emphasis on getting better and not capturing the back page of the papers or competing with the Giants.
Idzik in - circus out. Predictably the clowns who were promoting the circus most heavily in the media last year are the ones taking the big shots at Idzik. They know that if he stays the jig is up for them because they've got nothing to write about at that point.
That's not my area of expertise, but I think your audience would be interested in knowing that I wouldn't even try to take on the job of coaching.
What I can say is this: What's most important is if you look closely, you'll find the real issue here is you will each receive a copy of these as you leave here today.

The real surprise should be that the Jets did not do something like this in the past. 3. Who cares if he gets his greasy little mitts on the card and tweets it. Manish Said Joe Mcknight gave one of his colleagues the card when he was on NFLAM just now. He's as good as cut. He can't stay healthy or shut up.
It doesn't even say anything 'bad'. All it is is a way for players to move easily from one subject or though to another during an interview. For all we know the players asked for it because they felt they were getting 'trapped' with questions, or couldn't bring up points that they wanted to say. I bet if they posted the notes on how to speak to the media from rookie camp (which I'm sure are much more newsworthy), no one would blink an eye.
Thank god we have such knowledgeable football writers for the Jets. What would we do without stuff like this? Does this guy even try to keep people informed on the Jets?
