haha i love it.... maybe just maybe this thread will go away... oh wait, junc is back on shift in the morning.
Does this mean we can actually discuss football in this thread now rather fantasy excuse making? While I don't wish a ban on anyone I have to wonder if Hobbes has been trolling us all these years and just posting jibberish to annoy us. Maybe he is a closet Pats fan. No one can outside of Junc can actually believe the things that Hobbes has posted in his continuous spam posts.
im willing to bet he will be back tomorrow or the next day. i doubt he got a long sentence. he is surely a troll though, there is no way to deny that.
Goku died like a million times and came back Hobbes will be back We're going to have a newbie soon continuing the process
Hehe, guess time will tell. We also don't know for how long he's banned. The trick of both Hobbes and Junc is to constantly move the focal point in the debate, claiming one thing while labeling it 'fact' and 'truth' - once the replies and corrections start pouring in, swiftly move on to the next 'truth' and announce yourself already victorious in your last discussion. Repeat until the other poster gives up trying to reason with you. Now you can announce yourself victorious - again. Voilá. You will now have a never-ending "winning" streak. Once you've done this long enough, you'll begin to think you're actually winning 'debates' and therefore your view becomes correct. Congratulations! You are now delusional. Or let's call it... Superfan.
Hah I always thought their trick was to act so crazy and insane that no one would want to waste their energy and time arguing with a crazy person. Hoping that eventually everyone else will go away.
They also conveniently omit points and posts they can't retort to. They distort others' arguments and we go round and round in circles.... I don't even mind though, it kills a slow day at work nicely. Sanchez is a bum. Geno! Geno! Geno!
I wish I had slow days at work. Word of advice: Don't work in retail. It will destroy your faith in humanity faster than this forum board or the internet in general.
I think it's a mistake to categorize junc and Hobbes together. junc has always been like a pit bull for an argument that he thinks is correct, and while he will try to maneuver his points around the truth, he will never really compromise his argument. Our not much, at any rate. Hobbes isn't a pit bull, he's like a strange, inebriated fairy from the woods, flitting from thread to thread dropping his lame posts with an annoying lack of substance or context. Both can be annoying if you let them, but only one will try to hijack every single thread into a lame-ass non-argument, and that is Hobbes. I'm surprised it took this long for him to get a vacation.
Junc is most definitely a homer. Or more accurately, he has a PR positon with the Jets. That explains why he supports Schotty, Tannenbaum, Rex, and Sanchez. Even if you don't think all of those guys are accountable, at the very least you hold one of them accountable. Yet he does not. Because he works for the Jets front office.
It would explain why Sanchez is so bad as he spends to much time spam posting crazy posts on the internet rather than working on his game. Banning Hobbes (aka Sanchez) may help Sanchez turn around his career. Without having to post here all day maybe he can focus on becoming a better QB. Lets see how he does next week in practice. If we see instant improvement then maybe the ban is a win-win for everyone. Not only forum users but for team success.
"Blasphemy!!!1! You're blinded by hate and derailed numbers!! Ha! You simply cannot handle the inevitable rising from the ashes by The One!! Oh He will show you!! May He smite you with his Headband of Mediocrity and you too add shall be mesmerized!¡! Just give Him a chance!! A TRUE fan want Mark to start FOREVER, he's really improving too!!1 Just L2FAN, PLZ Hater!"
Yes, let's get on the raw receiver out of a triple option college offense in his second season who works his ass off and is the most improved player on the team for not being able to reel in a very poorly thrown ball from the Mark Sanchez. IN PRESEASON. Really? The guy is open almost every play. It's refreshing to see a receiver like him.
