It's called Rex covering for a player and Rex knowing Sanchez is fragile anyways on an emotional level.

Sanchez is a high Maintenance guy.

Can Sanchez stop with this Puppy-dog eyes bullshit?!

Every time the camera zooms in on his face, he has this wide eyed, scared, pathetic look on his face like someone is going to stab him. Its just so irritating to see him look so helpless sometimes. Get mean! do something!

Every INT Brady throws he has a sour "Im going to kill you" face.

Sanchez? Just stares into the sky like his dog just died. I want to root for the guy and after getting the alert on my phone that the Jets scored big on the opening drive, I was excited. Then I check maybe 30 mins later and I see 1INT and I just think to myself, shit. How do you start with such promise and then get shut down after 1 INT. Every drive after that TD: Puppy Dog eyes. So annoying.

I also want to say that Gates had a good 5 yards on the defender in the back of the EZ. If Sanchez even lobs it up there, Gates has the TD. Hell, side arm the damn thing in there. From the angle I was looking at, all Sanchez had to do was lob it. Or step up and throw a lazer in there, Mark. C'mon man, get it together. Give me 1st drive Sanchez anyday because he was dealing. Great strikes to Hill and Kerley, it was great.

    Thats all.

Someone said to me were overreacting to Sanchezs INTs

    I said no

    There are picks we accept

Deep pass on 3rd and long
DB making a great play on the ball

There are picks we can't have

    D-Linemen getting picks
    Pick 6s off screens
    Overthrows and underthrows
    Redzone INTs
    Throws into triple coverage

    He's constantly throwing bad picks

Even the picks Geno threw in practice which Rex called brutal were deep throws and 1 was off the WR hands

This guy just consistently shows he's not a starting caliber QB. Even against the "vanilla D" of the Jags. Wow.

I really expected the offense to click this game and it was same ole garbage. The only thing ill say in Sanchez' defense is that Stephen Hill is useless.

Two red zone trips - resulted in ZERO points.

Do you expect that out of Peyton Manning? Or Drew Brees? Or Tom Brady?

    Hell, Chad Pennington?

    Sanchez is so worthless.

    Dude it's the preseason

Except when he's good then he's fixed, our starter, 4 time playoff winner, 32 TDs in 2011, +6 TD/TO, Mr. Clutch, the Sanchize, who will lead us to a division title and an 11-5 record, 99.8 passer rating, led us to 30 points, Sparano and Schotty suck and he's the bestest

Yeah, he only posted 99.8 last week, and 27(should have been 30) points tnis week.

And the simple fact is, Winslow, caused the int.

Watch the play. Cumberland, and Hill correctly undercut the defensive player.

Winslow, for somwpe reason foes outside shoulder and inserts himself into bracket coverage,

If Winslow takes the inside shoulder, hes clean.

All interceptions are not created equal, throwing the ball to Ziggy, because you didnt look for TBo, is one thing. Your receiver on a bang bang play, letting the db get inderneath,,,is not on the QB

What QB under Schottenheimer. Scored more or had a better td/int ratio?

    Certainly not Pennington.

Last nights INT, was all Winslow. You arent going to like it, but thats what it was.

    You tell me, Zach.

Cumberland, cuts under Pozlusny. Hill cuts underneath his defender, only Winslow, takes the outside Shoulder, then still cuts inside, into a bracket.

How many points did they put up with him under center last night?

And Winslow, took 7 off the board, and in a real game, they take 3 with six second left in the half.

    So, by my tally....

    Thats 37.

Yeah..lets bitch, over a bad route by a new TE.

Do you guys know ANYTHING about football...?

On a 7 step drop, that INT is on Sanchez, because his read is helmet on helmet.

On a three step chuck and duck, the receiver is expected to get inside.

Cumberland and Hill managed it, but the call was to Winslow.

And thats twice in two games they havent been on the same page.

Cumberland, catching 20 yard scoring strikes, Winslow being on the receiving end of ints.

    But yeah, its All Sanchez.

You guys have descended into ridicule.

But hey, that defense looked great making Blaine Gabbert look like Joe Montana.

P.S. of you guys want the real indictment on Sanchez..its at1:04 left in the 2nd Qtr.

Hes under intense pressure, manages to escape, can throw it away, and tries to force the ball to Gates.

The balls plays, are what kills this guy. Marty needs to tell him, "even if you think you can get it there, (and you probably cant) the receiver is foing to tip that ball, and its six the other way."

Go back and watch his film. He thinks hes Favre, throwing to Rice.

    Thats his flaw.

By now, he should know better.

His other fatal flaw, is whenever possible he tries to "lay it in there" instead of drilling it...

Sanchez in my opinion made some progress last night when he threw that one ball into the dirt.

At least he seems to have a pocket to throw from this year.

I really don't think he has made any progress, he gets worse every year, if it wasn't for the cap hit, he would be on the Saskatchuwon Rough Riders

Hobbes...stop defending this guy. You sound like Rex making excuses for him. It's as sad as Sanchez right now

They're not going to take a $17M cap hit if they cut Sanchez. They're going to take a $4.3M hit above what they are currently taking. He's on the books for $12.85M no matter what. That's a sunk cost on the cap.

Unless you see a big acquisition before the trading deadline the Jets are basically done with the big spending this season.

Did you guys hear him being interviewed on CBS2 during the game? It made me burst into laughter, cause Mark says the same things each week, yet continues to make the same mistakes. I don't know what he is thinking.
