It looked like he had the guy in the flat but limited view from TV. I will give him credit for not fumbling, not forcing a throw, and not making it worse. First sack all preseason for him right?
He had 1 nice drive that led to a pre-season TD against what figures to be a very poor defense. But it's a good drive none the less. However, you CAN NOT take points off the board with stupid throws that shouldn't have been made. And that's Sanchez's problem, he'll have one or two good drives, on average, a game...and he'll offset it with a horrible play or two. If it wasn't his history no one would say much about it, but the fact is that IS his history.
No. Last week he should have spiked the ball. In this case, like last week, he and Winslow appeared to see it different. Sanchez looked to expect Winslow to break under. Winslow blocked for Hill to break under. Thats what pre season is for.
I'm sure the gameplan will be not to throw in his direction, especially given the deafening rain of boos and laughter that will rain down on Sanchez when Revis takes one to the house. That being said, I still think he will get one when Sanchez goes off script, panics under pressure and throws one up for grabs, or has a ball tipped. It's destiny.
