I like Hobbes' posts. He consistently makes good points, and while he is a little one-sided in his arguments, he has his opinion and backs it up with fact. I feel as if he is one of the few people on here that truly know the game.
It would be crazy for us to think Geno will not be the starter! I'm sick of hearing all this "he needs to sit a year" BS... Look at all the young rookie QB's that have thrived. This team NEEDS an influx of new young skilled players and Geno, Milliner, Winters and Richardson are going to lead the way. El Nacho Sanchez is done and should never start another game in the green and white. He stamped that with the pick 6 to Ansah. Yes, he regrouped and threw a nice TD and had ok stats BUT the pick 6 shows that he is the same ol Nacho and through 60 min he would make more of the same mistakes. In Geno we trust! Lets see what we have now because there is zero point starting Nacho he will be in the CFL next year.
Skip Bayless is pretty awesome haha. And putting Hobbes on the ignore list wouldn't do anything, because then we'd just be reading a bunch of people replying to something we can't see. Also, completely agree with Rockinz..sitting him is just stupid. We NEED to see what we have in him.
Interesting! Geno smith comes back less than 100% and outperforms Sanchez massively. The competition just heated up. I figured Sanchez was in the lead before this. No disrespect cause I generally enjoy reading your posts, but I'll complain about who I want, when I want. Hobbes and Junc make this board a lot less enjoyable for many of us and if they are allowed to continue to flame every thread with the same exact crap over and over, then we are allowed to voice our displeasure. Personally, I wouldn't complain if they would just stick to keeping their comments in the Sanchez Sucks thread as oppsed to turning EVERY converstion into the same arguments.

Just a cazy suggestion to my fellow TGG members, but as we move forward, we should perhaps have two separate threads. One for training camp general updates for all but the QBs and a separate solely dedicated to the QB battle in training camp and pre-season. It might help get quick updates on the other positions, asking questions about specific players performance and not having to scroll thru 4 pages of Sanchez versus Geno and Mac to find the response....Just saying. Sorry if my suggestion is braking any rules.

I'm wondering how many of you heard Jamie Dukes on FAN with Joe and Evan last Friday. He basically said the same thing, and talked about how ridiculous this notion is of "ruining" a QB by starting him right away. He asked them to name ONE QB who was ruined by not sitting for a while, and went on to say something I've always believed --- Either you can play or you can't. Everything else is just a bunch of bullshit excuses.
