Did anyone notice how terrible Jacksonville looked at home in a 27-3 loss to the Dolphins? Hopefully the Jets can take advantage and gain some confidence this Saturday. Especially the young guys.
San Diego Defense #16 in points allowed, league average..7-9 basically a .500 season statistically. San Diego passing Offense #11 in points scored. Slightly above league average. San Diego Run offense #32 In points scored (#27 in total yards rushing). Total offense #20 combined rushing and passing. Expected record 7-9 based off of points scored/points allowed. The Team performed as it's overall stats indicated that it would. Average defense, above average passing offense, dismal rushing game. That is context.
I hope you are joking. Because if you are not, this post is a joke. The season will be determined in the second preseason game? Forget the 16 real games. Because we'll see all we have to see in the quarter and a half that the starters will play against Jacksonville!!! The only thing that matters in these games are the position battles - QB, RG, 3rd WR, Safety. Other than that, the Jets could take a 10-0 lead into halftime and lose 21-10 and all that would mean was that the Jags have a better bottom 25 players than the Jets. So let's stop putting all this emphasis on needing to win a game that doesn't count in August with a team that is in full rebuilding mode.
I bet the backup QB is popular in the following places New England Denver Green Bay New Orleans Atlanta Indianapolis Seattle San Francisco San Diego NY Giants Pittsburgh
Do you see in the top toolbar where it says "Today's Jets Tweets"? That's where we get most of the info from. It seems like Ivory participated in drills, but not full 11v11 team drills. He says he expects to play Saturday.
Thank you, MoWilk. I would like to see Ivory get a little bit more involved as the week progresses, but it's really just impatience on my part. I know the time on the bike was good for him. I'll just feel better knowing he's good to go.
You can use that page, and some of the main Jets beat writers Twitters are: https://twitter.com/BrianCoz https://twitter.com/KMart_LI https://twitter.com/RichCimini https://twitter.com/eallenjets These are the ones I primarily follow for Jets news. I'll remove and add people at times depending on their offseason tweets and if their Nets/Mets fans that just criticize the Knicks/Yankees
thanks bud, not much news today apparently, but you'd never know with the daily sanchez debate very happy to see jarrett playing with the 1s, i feel as if his ceiling is higher than josh or antonio's.
is anyone else suddenly getting "coupondropdown" embedded links in posts? Or did I just manage to get a virus?
I think I might have gotten something similar a while back, didn't read the fine print in a Java update. I just checked my programs and deleted something I didn't recognize and it was gone.
Ha! That pretty much sums it up. And just like ESPN, people here will eventually tune out and go elsewhere if he is allowed to hijack every thread.
Stop bitching about hobbes. Put him on your ignore list if you don't want to be bothered with his posts. Otherwise we can only assume you enjoy reading his posts and "debating" with him.
