rather have a guy who takes a sack instead of throwing td passes/fumbles to defensive lineman from the other team!!! your mind is a terrible thing to waste.......
I watched first half of the game and some in 4th ...is geno gonna be ok? Is it a serious injury??? Please someone respond!
hobbes must be due to have his eyeglass rx changed (?). evidently, he doesn't see what everyone else can.
here's the thing Sanchez supporters don't get when they say if he gets protection and receivers get separation he can do great things....Here's a clue, just about any College QB under those circumstances can do great things.. What separates a good qb from a bad qb and a great qb from a good qb is not how well they do when everything is working as designed, blocking is good, receivers get separation, etc...what separates Qb's is how they handle things the majority of the time when plays break down, when pressure comes through, or receivers aren't getting much separation. And that's Marks downfall, under duress he is a complete jackass with the ball.
My takeaways after only being able to watch bits and pieces of the first 2 quarters: 1. Same old Sanchez.. Although he did make some decent plays and led a decent drive afterwards. 2. Need to see more of Geno.. I like his swagger though. He's got the right mentality and he made some nice throws. 3. We are screwed at RB until BOTH Goodson AND Ivory are back. Goodson needs to come out of hiding.
You know what always scares me...the teams that won't give certain guys a shot...and others waay more of a chance than they deserve. The hilarity of it all is a guy like GMac is a better option at QB than what is on the Jaguar's entire roster...yet he can't crack the "competition" between a rookie and a turnover machine.
you should of applied for the gm job. yes, I am being serious. if I was idzik right now, el taco loco would be holding a clipboard for the rest of the year and I would charge off his $9 million guarantee to the office petty cash account. ( sarcasm). rex is making the same mistake with el taco loco that his dad made in philly and Arizona, resulting in being fired in both places. those who fail to learn lessons from history are doomed to repeat it.
Why not? Black Mamba, the Dark McKnight... imo I think we really need to lay off the Politically Correct sauce in uhmurika ...
How is spadola's injury?? This kid is gonna be something special! Reminds me of a bigger faster Chrebet
Well, I might as well get a 6 jersey and put PICK where Sanchez name should be. I hate being right about how fucking terrible he is and yet Rex just loves him. Will be glad when both are gone next year.
The guy can hardly speak spanish himself. It really doesn't make any sense other than for the fact that his ancestry is Mexican.
Agreed if the only way to dump Sanchez is sending Rex with him then do it I seen some good in Geno that he can be developed in gameplay not riding the pine behind the headband
Since we're making up unlikely scenarios, I'd suggest that we package the both of you useless mooks stuffed into a small cat carrier and only after it has been stuck into a high density clothes dryer for 5 hours. Might as well get rid of all of the trash while we're at it.
Seems like teams never get away from their draft status. 6th rounders don't really get a shot, 1st rounders get shot after shot after shot
McElroni has the physical ability of a career backup QB. I'd like to see him included in the competition, but the chances of him succeeding are about as high as the chances of Mark Sanchez getting through a season without having some on or off the field incident masking p him look like an awkward doofus.
