It was great to see some wide open receivers in Jets uniforms. I feel like I haven't seen that in a long time.

Not letting geno play. Guess next week will better when he starts. Butt fumble had a great Td drive but doesn't really matter when he already scored for the other team.. Again

Shaun Hill is carving the defense right now. Not what we want to see

yeah geno was a check down master tonight. he didnt do anything to even talk about, BUT he also didnt turn the ball over.

  6. It's preseason.Geno will get his turn. They need to work on other things besides the QB battle..

Was happy to hear plays made by Hill,Gates,Kerley, Dee,Coples & Wilk.

Any idea how Sheldon handled himself?

He "bounced back" until his next pick six

If you can't ever be comfortable with Sanchez deep in Jets territory then that's not a good sign

Except he didn't check down once. he had two 3rd and 11s that were no fault of his own. (oline penalties stuffed runs) and 3rd down runs that were stuffed. His teammates failed him miserably. He was never given one shot to make a manageable 3rd down to extend a drive.

Just rewatched Marks 3 drives again.

    Basically had 3 quality throws-

Sideline pass to Winslow: good placement in a tight space. Really close to being deflected.

Pass to Kerley: Kerley lost his man and was wide open. No one within 8 yards. Easy throw and catch.

TD to Cumberland: I believe his 2nd read, nice touch on pass, but once again no one within 5-8 yards.

2 bad passes that were terrible- Int and the almost Int.

Not terrible, but not as good as the stats say Imo.

i hope not on one hand, then on the other hand i am very afraid of what could happen to him with adouchey out there at left tackle.

he officially proved to me in 2 plays that he cannot block anything that moves.

he continued to not put the ball in the proper place, on 3 of his passes that were completed he put the ball in completely the wrong place.

his first decent pass i think it was to kerley for 18 yards was also low.

he was not good at all.

    Today's stat sheet for Sanchez:

    10/13, 127 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT. QB Rating of 100.5

That's heads and shoulders better than the normal Sanchez we all came to know and love. Mornhinweg is a genius! He CAN make a total tub of shit that is Sanchez something serviceable! Wow!

[Remember. Typical Sanchez stat line goes:

    7/13, 87 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT, with QB Rating of 45.7]

fantasy stats. the only one that matters is the yet another INT to a d-linemen. He has to be the all-time NFL leader in that category.

That stat line would read so much better if we all didn't know that the pick was 6 points for the other team. The performance was uneven. One horrific mistake followed by one brilliant drive.
