he's played 3 more years than Mark, how many more would he need to catch him in playoff wins? 3 more? 5 more?

    Negative.

I know you hate Sanchez, but this is flat out wrong.

Romo sucks. I repeat. Romo sucks. Get that drilled into your head. That team is going nowhere with Romo at QB.

  3. Good running backs who haven't been able to stay healthy or consistent. Also..Cowboys OL in 09/10 WAS that bad.Leonard Davis,Mark Columbo & Flozell Adams were all old, aging & overweight.Pass pro was a disaster.

Mark made a title game w/ Wayne Hunter starting. I don't want to hear OL excuses.

The point is that Montana was the future and when he made mistakes they sat him as a way to let him know that mistakes won't be tolerated. The Jets should have had a capable QB start and relieve him at times during his rookie year.

    Fantasy facts!!!1!

Seriously, all anyone has to do is just watch the guy play... a player is not his surroundings. It's not like it's rare to be way better than your teammates and still be good at your position. Just ask a guy like Sheldon Richardson whose team sucked donkey balls.

Mark is just not a good quarterback TODAY.

For how long should Mark be kept and played because of his two AFC title games? Another year? Five years? Until he decides to retire?

Coz the playing ability Mark has had up until now sure doesn't grant either a starting spot or his salary.

If I'd hit a hole-in-one in a golf tournament a couple of years ago and has regressed ever since, I should be qualified to enter the competition forever, since I'm apparently badass at golf regardless of how I play now.

I just find it strange how some can accept mediocre at the most important position.

imo i dont know why you guys stress so much if sanchez starts this season and plays the full season its 1 of 2 , either he makes the playoffs and keeps his job or he goes 6 and 10 and they cut him. I would like to see Geno starting too but if you start with geno then if he struggles fanbase will ask for Sanchez and dump another season, and possible a new chance of contract lol.

If Geno struggles no one will ask for Sanchez

He's a rookie, the CS will adjust, Geno will get better with time

Maybe if you were such a great of fan as you say you are, you would have noticed that hunter actually played well in the playoffs. He wasn't bad, he actually shut down Lamar Woodley and Robert Mathis for the most part if I remember correctly. He even fooled the entire Organization into giving him 4 mil.

Now, 2011 is a whole different story, but during the playoffs the turnstile wasnt a turnstile.

Hunter may of played well protection wise for 2 games, but the bastard was tipping plays on the goal-line during the AFCCG against the Steelers. Rookie mistakes

That's all that matters. Because he's Wayne hunter it means nothing. He was good in the playoffs, just like Sanchez was.

Welp I was listening to SAS on espn radio on the way to my job today and he goes off on a rant that is one of the most childish stupidest things I've ever heard. He's seriously mad bro. He's mad because Sanchez said that he thinks he's earned the starting position and has played decently in camp. Smith just rants and raves like a lunatic and bashes him constantly as if he has no chance to ever turn it around. He reminds me of some of the darksiders on here. Seriously, dude, who the fuck cares. If our players have no confidence it would be much MUCH worse. SAS, the ultimate hypocrite, thinks that he has no right to have confidence. What a joke he is. Just figured I'd add this to the Sanchez hate thread.

he was good for Wayne Hunter, that doesn't necessarily mean he was good. as 101 noted he was supposedly tipping plays and that cost us big time on the GL.

he knows absolutely nothing about football. The fact that he doesn't like Mark makes me like mark that much more, he's one of the lazy journalists that just uses stats/rankings to back his uninformed opinions.

Exactly. You'd think the way these guys talk that with Sanchez behind center we were winning 3-4 games each year!

I strongly disagree with this statement.

Jets fans' short memories are only exceeded by their lack of patience. Junc is right when he says, "Smith will become the next Sanchez, just as Sanchez became the previous Chad."

Zero tolerance and patience. If Geno struggles we are truly fucked, big time. Better to start El Guapo and see where we go.

Who around here believes we are destined to do anything this year anyway? I mean, come on. Sanchez stinks up the field royally and Smith is a freaking rookie. With the exception of a fairly good-looking DEF (on paper), this team has a lot of new faces and is still in "rebuild."
