how is that plausible? and this goes to people on the sanchez side and the geno side. what makes people think that decision has been made and they are putting on this competition for public consumption? they are installing a new offense, don't you think they would rather do that with a starter getting most of the reps instead of splitting reps and trying to get evryone on the same page. everyone needs to stop believing that the h.c. and the f.o. gives a fuck what you think and they are not doing shitto appease the masses. they are trying to get the best team possible, period. there are no conspiracies, period. //rant
If that were to be true, the NFL needs to step in and shut the Jets down for a year voiding Johnson of his ownership and removing the entire coaching staff.
The saddest part of the La Bamba video at 58 seconds is that we have a QB who wipes his snot on his head coaches coat. Disturbing on many levels. Either (a)This guy is stupid (or severely retarded enough) to think Ryan wouldn't notice, bringing into question his lack of judgement or, (b)Ryan and Sanchez are way too "buddy-buddy" and lack the separation a coach needs to have with any of his players, I don't care who it is. But given that Sanchez finally has very good competition from a very good rookie QB and given that his recent seasons have been terrible, this is all the more reason for distance between the two. I somehow can't imagine Bill Belichik allowing a player to wipe snot on his jacket and think the relationship is "cool enough" to laugh it off. So, this is very disturbing and it's either (a) or (b). I suspect (b), and this is why Ryan CANNOT be the sole judge of whether or not this imbecile starts.
I think Byz was bringing to light the banner mentioning the Fins haven't won a game since 2000 as a retort to you ragging on Idzik for being part of the decision making process. Obviously the Jets are doing something right and the Fins are not. I could be wrong.
I am aware of what he tried. Nothing is weaker then throwing out something that has no relevance to the debate because you have no answer. I have no issue with it because it's the norm for some fans responding to an opposing team's fans. That was my way of telling him his response was worthless. I think he knows that.
Tee, Rx doesn't have the cache that Parcells built up over the years so Rex really has no options but to keep his head down and concentrate on his defense. Given his statement about "As long as I'm here, Sanchez is the starter", just like anything else said in the heat of the moment, take it with the perverbial grain of salt as self preservation usually trumps in this situation.
I stand corrected. After I froze the 58-second mark, it's clearly not Ryan. Still, what kind of childish mind decides to do that to anybody? Fun or no fun? This guy thinks it's okay to do anything, including lose embarrassing games, and then get on the podium and nonchalantly kiss off the game like it's nothing and "we need to work on a few things." Sick and tired of the laid-back, Californication shoulder-shrugging at the podium after ridiculous losses, laced with snot-wiping on teamates. This guy is a real asshole.
I love how everyone is making equally baseless assumptions as Cimini as to how decisions are or should be made lmao
Cimini is clearly a total jackass. I like Rex, and think he has been a decent coach. His worst coaching aspect thus far has been his decisions regarding the QB. Hopefully the GM and the OC can get Rex on the same page as far as starting a worthwhile QB, and the Jets can go all the way.
