    Oh Mevi$ did? Damn.

    My bad, then.

I guess I got over it since Mevi$ did prove he was worth the Money eventually.....

But Dee hasn't proven he has Revis-like Ability.....I doubt Lightning will strike TWICE in this regard.

I really hate the term "holdout" when used in reference to an unsigned rookie.

It was devised for players under contract that wanted to hold out for better contracts.

Reporters latched onto the term for rookies unsigned because of negative connotations, but it makes zero sense to use it in this situation, especially now that the rookie wage scale has set the monetary value of rookie contracts.

He isn't holding out. He just isn't signed.

The media are dicks. A week ago, Sanchez was well ahead of Smith, this week,,,, Smith has made great strides, and ...oh Surprise...can run the read option!

If Smith was in the process of learning the WCO, why would they pollute him with R/O?

I hate the media. Except for Emily Miller and Lynne White..

Well last week there was no training camp practices... Now there is, and apparently Geno is doing very well.

As I've said, Im not jumping to rash conclusions just yet, I want to see Geno do this consistently before I anoint him the starter.

Milliner fired his agent, didn't he? That could cause delays.

I'm pretty confident Milliner will be in shortly. With Cooper signing today, the process should speed up.

What happens if a rookie refuses to sign with a team, for whatever reason? He won't go into the undrafted pools, but he can't play either. So what, he just sits out until a deal is reached?

No way this lasts longer then a few days. The rookie wage scale pretty much eliminates extended holdouts.

    However to answer your question:

    http://www.draftsite.com/nfl/rules/

If a player enters the draft but does not sign a contract, that player can be drafted again the following year.

So that means if he doesnt want to play for us, he can hold out and try again next year? We just loose our draft pick?
