yup, this is all we need to know. He is not coming back before week 6. If the Jets had stayed in touch with this situation during the offseason, as I assume they would have with the investment on the table, then this makes me wonder even more WTF they were thinking on draft day...Makes the Edwards signing a nessesity not luxery

if this is the situation the Jets must have known, why did we not make any attempt to bring in a WR?

 

Why not bring in Brandon Lloyd at this point? If the names like TO, Moss etc are being thrown around, why not a guy that was extremely productive last year, knows the division? People might say things about his attitude but can he be worse than some of the names thrown around and/or Tone?

 

I don't think a receiving corps of Braylon, Kerley, Hill, and Gates is that bad... that is if Hill takes a leap this year. Having said that, I highly doubt Holmes isn't playing by week 2 the latest.

 

Because he is average at best, and he is a locker room issue. One great season, one good season, and a whole lot of nothing otherwise. Why would the Jets add a player who has a history of being a problem in the locker room? He has NEVER been even close to the likes of Moss, TO or Ocho ... at least they had great talent to offset the other stuff.

 

McDaniels isn't the OC of this team. Lloyd has only performed well when he's the guy calling plays.

Just go with who we have. Lets see if some youngsters step up.

and yes, hes an idiot for getting involved with her in the first place knowing that she is a golddigger and a drama queen who single handedly destroyed antoine walker, but we all make mistakes.

also, when has he been a problem with teammates? by all accounts hes a good guy. a bit crazy but not a bad team guy like a lloyd or a moss or a TO

edit: just noticed you mentioned Collie. guy cant stay healthy. if he could i would take him over all options but i have no faith in his ability to stay on the field

Today I heard espn radio,,,,,that Holmes might not even play this year,,,,I know that they brought in Collie and Laurant Robinson the other day,,,,I would take a chance with Robinson he did well at times and would probably come cheap
