If my wife wanted to come she would be welcome. Before we had kids, 20 years ago, she went to 4 games a year.
My wife has always loved going to jet games,,,,,my little guy was the one who used to give me problems as it was always too long a game and a day for him but he got better as he got older. My older guy has liked games from day 1 ! I started him at his first game at age 2 ,, same goes for training camp and Yankee games with diaper bag over my shoulder and all. He always loved going and when he was 4 or 5 and would yell at guys in Jason Taylor jerseys or Tom Brady jerseys to " sit down " it had our whole section rolling with laughter,,,,,great times  It is still fun to go to a game but it is nothing compared to what it once was,,,,I miss the old place,,,,but we have lots of memories
I'm never renewing again. I always knew prices would go below face value but even the biggest stubhub advocate never thought seats would be going for 75% below face value by mid-July.
home opener section 346 row 6 seats 3,4,5&6 $70 each. $25 below face value right next to $105 face WOW
section 346 row 6 seats 3-6 $111 for the steelers $98.31 vs pats $74.16 vs saints $56.67 vs dolphins tickets are sold for raiders but row 7 is $40 $40.23 vs browns per seat face = 10 games 2 preseason $950 stubhub 8 games $535.37
I see that stubhub has changed the listing rules for NFL games like they did with MLB. The prices are ALL IN, includes all fees. I can tell you from experience that this is going to completely fuck sellers. Buyers are used to a certain price range and with all the fees bundled in, the prices you were getting last season will now look like a complete rip off to them. So sellers have to slash prices by 10%-15% just to compete. People will be dropping MLB ticket plans like crazy after this season because of it http://www.stubhub.com/new-york-jet...-rutherford-metlife-stadium-8-9-2013-4270600/
Also if you notice, all the fire sales are in the upper deck. In the lowers, prices are at face or better (mind you, that's after fees so the sellers are actually taking a 25%+ hit that listing price). This just goes to show you how the upper deck is set so high and so far back that 90%+ of people would rather watch at home than sit up there at any price. Those lowers will still completely sell off on the day of game though, unless somehow Mark Sanchez gets injured and Geno Smith turns out to be the second coming of Joe Montana (don't ask me who he's going to throw to though)
Definitely someone the Jets have selling for them. There is a set of 3 in 346 row 6 I believe seats 15, 16, and 17 going for $35 for most games. 347 row 7 there is a block of 12 seats. A season ticketholder doesn't buy that to take a $600 loss per seat like the Jets tried to claim when I call them up. I know when I get tickets I can get them for below face or at least no preseasons but I don't mind paying a little extra but this is out of control.
Well I would like to say I told U so buuuuuuuuuuuuuuut I will see I told U so. Next year after another losing season maybe as low as 4-12 it will be that they are going for next to nothing
The Jets have someone selling them on Stubhub, tells u what the UD is gonna be like this year. Just glad sec 340 will be packed with real fans since the Jets reorged the UD again. Eventually, the UD will be 8 sections of season ticket holders all between the 30's if this keeps up.
You can't stay on the bottom forever. Things change and ticket prices swing. Put some winning seasons together and a couple of SB runs and it's a whole other thing. But of course, you don't want to see the whole other thing. You want to imagine a Jets team that never, ever wins anything. Not in this lifetime and not evermore.
You are right that things can change buuuuuuuuuuuuuut we have been on the bottom now since 01/13/69 (no SB win or even appearence) so who is to say another 44 years will go by & with us still being on the bottom? Right now the outlook for the NYJs is quite bearish & if my crystal ball is correct U R looking at another decade or longer of being a NFL bottom feeder before things may see some sought of improvement. If you are thinking MS or GS is the answer then my suggestion to U is just keep dreaming cause the QB that will lead us to the SB is right now not on the team
If the Jets win the Super Bowl, then Champ won't be the only person on the planet to witness a Jets super bowl, he can't sit on his high horse and lecture us youngsters about the good old days when men where men.
That's a lovely thought but according to my son who is 43 the NYJs will not win a SB in his lifetime. Also do not try defend it with it is my thinking that makes him think that since he is I think for myself person when it comes to the NYJs. Our routine is that I tape the games for him off DTV & then he watches the tape on Sunday nite but for this upcoming season he is considering not wasting his time to watch the games at all. Also JFYI he is not a SB or bust guy & we argue all the time that the season has no value if you do not win the SB. BTW I am sure I not the only NYJ Fan still around from the 60s who saw SB3
How are U going to get JWN to reply? U just do not understand me that I see total garbage on the team from the owner thru the HC to the GM to the players. I will ask U the same question I ask others name 5 positives U see in the NYJs
