"These assholes always get away" is the one piece of evidence that could convict Zimmerman of murder in the 2nd. It provides the only evidence that Zimmerman harbored hostile intent towards Martin from the get-go before they'd even locked up. My issue with the trial as it stands now is that the judge allowed a second count to be registered after the defense had rested. Now you can make all sorts of guesses as to why she did that but many of them suggest that she was not playing her role as impartial referee when she did it. If the state decides to charge somebody with murder in the 2nd they should have to prove murder in the 2nd. If they decide to charge somebody with murder in the 2nd or manslaughter and leave it up to the jury that's fine too but then they need to do that at the start or with the consent of the defense if afterwards. It's not right to make somebody dodge apples during their trial and then when they're done suddenly chuck an orange at them just to be sure you get them. That's not the way the adversarial system is supposed to work. By allowing the extra count at that late date the judge effectively lined up with the prosecution and the prosecution is already overwhelmingly strong in most cases.
I admit I have strange theories and a complex mind with regard to this countries powers at be, including the legal system....... That being said I have a feeling, albeit on a different scale so to say, that there will be a conviction. It's the same knot in my stomach when Obama was re-elected. There was NO WAY Obama was gonna be a 1 termer and there is no way Zimmerman gets acquitted. The so called powers at be continue to be out in full force.
No. Because that piece of evidence indicates the transition from persuing, to pursued., And on tuenlast point, ita.
And it still wouldn't have been adequate to protect your self esteem. I'd be surprised if many people with any exposure to your behavior on this site would be in favor of you packing heat.
and the NAACP already chimes on, and continues their ultimate goal of keeping racism alive so they have jobs.
I am very surprised but so what. Someone is dead and a family has to live with it. Currently I am watching msnbc and CNN and geez they were really looking for a conviction. Trying to force the idea onto viewers. Listening to some of these hacks is quite comical. This is the part of this charade that burns me. Of course mr. sharpton has the agenda planned out for the civil suit. The true political, social, and racial colors are bursting thru all seams without boundary and shame. Listening to this legal lady on msnbc saying the jury, from Sanford, was too conservative and not racially diverse enough. When do these ideas stop. Unreal.
Crap we can all do without this activist BS - IMO these hacks are one of the primary causes that the racial divide is worsening, and diverging as we go forward.
Well, Id respond in kind to you, except changing, the phrase 'packing heat' to 'procreating' as the gene pool is already getting shallow.
Wow "we'll see how many civil lawsuits are spawned from this fiasco" - omara. Double wow -" if Zimmerman was black, he would not have been charged with a crime" - omara. Triple wow - omara telling it like it is. Don't think we'll be seeing him on msnbc or CNN anytime soon.
well, the media did a great job of further dividing races. They also tried real hard to induce rioting
Lol, how appropriate. Angela Corey. The corrupt trash that tried to manipulate the case in the prosecution's favor by withholding evidence from the defense. Justice and vindication...I am tired of baseless accusations this guy suffered by the media. Trayvon was no saint, its a travesty a kid died...but this was not a case of murder or manslaughter. Casey Anthony and OJ got away with Murder
^"Casey Anthony and OJ got away with Murder" They were found not guilty. We still have a court system here..You gotta prove your case...No matter how awful one might think a potential crime is...
That was absolutely the right verdict. No way the prosecution could prove anything beyond a reasonable doubt. In all my experience as an attorney, I've never seen such an introverted case. Typically, the prosecution brings forth their theory of the case and supports it with evidence. The defense tries poking holes in the theory. In this trial, it was the complete opposite. It was the defense that brought forth the theory (via Zimmerman's video recreation) and the prosecution trying to poke holes (e.g. he's lying). That doesn't cut it when its YOUR burden and its beyond a reasonable doubt.
