Smith later clarified his "no comment," saying "sure, sure" when asked about attending. "We haven't talked about it, but from my understanding it's something that's done annually and all the guys go out there and it's been a great experience," Smith previously had said. "Mark hasn't officially extended the hand to me, but I'm pretty sure there's no problem there. I'm more than willing to go there." Sanchez previously had said that every player is invited to the camp. A spokesperson for the camp said there are several offensive skill players in attendance. Was he invited? Doesn't Dirty pay for the camp outside of the players getting there? I can't blame Dirty for not wanting to spend his money and time to help the guy who wants his job. You can say that's not being a team player but I wouldn't do it either.
oh please. Geno is doing a man thing. Sanchez is garbage and he isnt going to waste his time at JestWest camp.
Do you think G.Smith-sonian should attend? Will it benefit him? Does "Jet-West" really accomplish anything other than fostering team harmony/camaraderie ?
Apologies GG 101 as I'm not trying to make a "big deal" out of this but simply trying to add a "lil' spice" to the forum during this slow period of news-worthy Jet topics. There's nothing wrong with speculating on G's reason for not attending right?
Is it possible he's just showing up a day or two late? Can't say I'd blame him for not wanting to go or sanchez for not inviting him if either of those hapened.

why is sanchez 'running' this 'jets west' thing anyhow? he's not the cast-in-stone starter anymore. if i were running an office, i wouldn't want someone who's competing for a leadership role, going off on his own, starting up a proxy office somewhere. it's just out-of-whack and could definitely look like bias and cause resentment among the rest of the staff. it's really unfair to geno, tilts the 'competition', and may even hurt the end results. the jets should have this garbage under control.
Honestly, if Geno is working down in Florida, let him work. It's not like Jets West has produced anything meaningful
