Didn't you already say goodbye? I KNOW you already said goodbye. D00d. Now you have to figure out a better way to say goodbye. You better start Googling some movie quotes.
Sorry, but I thought affiliating with terror and hate, like the group Aboushi spoke in front of does, is wrong. I guess I must be a minority in this Jets forum. I'm surprised. Especially when NY has been the target of terror attacks. Just surprised.
There are no Palestinian groups of any sort that are not affiliated in some way by some connector of some sort with groups that promote hate and terror. You could not make a group of Palestinians of any substantial numbers at all in which somebody would not know somebody or be related to somebody who knew somebody or was related to somebody, etc, etc. You do understand the Kevin Bacon thing right? Put another way, you know that Barack Obama and Dick Cheney are distantly related right? You know that George W. Bush and John Kerry are distantly related and both are related to French royalty in the 1700's, right? It's called 6 degrees of separation and the working theory right now is that everybody on earth is related by no more than 12 degrees of separation.
This is not 6 degrees of separation. Aboushi spoke at an event run by a group which has itself affiliated with terror and hate. If this group had a terror leader speaking at one of its conferences, is that 6 degrees? If this group is part of a facebook page that posts pics of Hitler and Hamas officials, is that 6 degrees? Is that like Obama being related to Cheney?
But this is not true. El Bireh has not affiliated with terror and hate. They have not affiliated with Hamas. The article charges them with having a speaker from a charity (ICOSF) whose mosque property is owned by a trust (NAIT). So El Bireh is a terror supporter because they invited somebody to speak whose charity's landlord is supposedly a terror supporter. This is 6 degrees of separation at it's finest. The guy who is speaking is not a terror supporter. His charity is not a terror supporter. But since their landlord is supposedly a terror supporter both the charity and the guy are terror supporters and by extension so is El Bireh and by further extension so is Oday Aboushi because somebody 5 degrees of separation out might be a terror supporter.
I am going to say goodbye in a moment. But before I go, I just want to say that I disagree with almost all of you. If this were my team, especially since it's a NY team, Aboushi would be out the door. As far as I'm concerned, and I've been a Jets fan most of my life, if the Jets don't address this problem, their front office and coaching staff are both gutless.
Yeah, well, they are also inductees of Skull and Bones during the same class. Let's go further than that. GW Bush and Obama are cousins. Dick Cheney and Obama are cousins. Most of the US presidents are related in some way. And strangely, most of them are also related to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Funny thing about that is that most of the resources that tracked those relations a year ago have disappeared from the internet. But I digress.
If you read the article, you will see that a leader of the PFLP spoke at one of the group's conferences. There's a link there to show that proof. Read the article. Bye.
If this article is something the shuffles an idiotic goofball like you out the door, I am going to write the editor and ask him for a dozen more. What a true blessing from Allah.
I'm pretty sure the Bush and Kerry relationship is through marriage not blood (other than skull and crossbones of course) and then they are both related to French royalty in the 1700's through Kerry's wife who conveniently provides the link for Bush also via, wait for it, 6 degrees of separation. The people who were doing the 12 degrees study actually hadn't found anybody who was more than 9 degrees separate when they published. My own theory is that since they were figuring out where to look they were biasing the study, since any place they looked was someplace they had heard about from, wait for it, somebody they knew or somebody they knew knew.
A convention 27 years ago? Where the speaker was only charged with being in a terrorist group two years later? That's assuming the people inviting him back then even knew he was in that group. Would have to research it properly to find out what the writer is implying here, and whether his implications are even valid.
19-fucking-86. How old was Oday Aboushi then? Seriously, do you think things are static enough since 1986 to make anything that happened then relevant in making modern comparisons 28 years later? Go look up the Likud. Then go back 28 years in their history.
I'm saying that most of the places, and the majority of them were privately owned websites, no longer exist. Not just that the Wikipedia page was scrubbed from the internet, which it was. I know you will just write that off to happenstance, but I think that is pretty fucking fishy.
Do any of them still exist? I don't believe any sources are more than 50% reliable at best these days on anything. We're living in a self-confirmation fishbowl at the moment and you have to get into the really technical stuff to get relatively unbiased information. That information is only valid because even the people who publish it don't understand it well enough to twist it to the conclusion they want.
Nail on the freaking head. Oday isn't a terrorist supporter and he's done nothing wrong to any of you. Quit getting all jewishly emotional over supporting Palestine.
Remnants of them should on the fantastic Wayback Machine. But I did not have the foresight to bookmark URLs, so I cannot check the Web archive. I know that most, if not all, have been pushed outward of existence. There are still some articles that reference some connections, but the entire presidential connection does not exist. If those long-distant relations were so irrelevant, why are the blogs that mentioned them gone?
The internet is a blank page that happens to have information on it today. Tomorrow, who knows? The age of books that lasted for decades and centuries is going fast. The next victor that tries to re-write history is going to have a very easy task in front of them.
The internet was once something that was able to be tracked back for years. Now it has become something that disappears daily. For one reason or another. That is not a coinkydink. Our educational institutions have been rewriting history to our children methodically and painstakingly for generations. Now all they have to do is consult the Wikipedia priests and it is done in a day. Yes, books are dead. The internet is the now. It is also the true war that the powers that be are waging on our citizens. Just ask Snowden. He will be dead in weeks, if he isn't already.
Lets see giving a speech should get you kicked off the team, but rapists, drug users, dog killers, and violent felons deserve a pass? Puhleaze... I could donate money to a charity, & they can be affiliated with all sorts of stuff, that makes me bad? Newsflash ppl we dont know who is affiliated with who, we try to help, or educate as Oday was. He didn't pick up a AK or smuggle drugs, or use violence, nor curse but he should be disciplined??? What is up with This world lol. Anyhow who labels organizations terrorists, & what makes them terrorists, & if they are so bad why the freak are they operating in OUR country? Obviously the media was successful in making terrorism synonymous with Islam. Kinda like what the reporters did with the Jets and circus. Sad.
