You buy an UD, ridiculously priced (or maybe not) ticket for $12.

Then you go upstairs for the 1st Q. Then you "work your way down" while stopping off to buy beers along the way, to the 200 level, and you eventually work your way past security in the 3rd Q to the 100 Level and then to the Coaches Club.

You won't see shit from there mind you, but you can then tell everyone what you did. The stadium is so fucking pancacked that no ticket in the house is worth the money, as opposed to the old addage about Giants Stadium that said, "There's not a bad seat in the house."

when i used to bring people with me to section 312 row 13 in Giants Stadium, people's first reaction before getting there was "how high are we?" then when we got to the seats people were so surprised at how great the view was and how close u actually were.sunny side see the jets coaches talking to the players.who was around an injured player.

none of that can be done from the upper level no matter what your row is.oh and we have to pay more

Was looking at Rutgers season tickets. Can get lower level end zones $280 per seat for the season. 5 yard line $350 for the season. Oh and there aren't games at the end of December and there are pretty 21 y/o girls to look at.

If we have another crappy season, next year I am not paying my invoice and when the jets call I am asking for my row 4 seats between the 40's and free parking or else. People are going to get free parking and seasons at the end of August comparable to my seats once again.

PLEASE!!!!! Nothing personal, but that's not a fair comparison. Rutgers vs. the NFL, come on. In fact, college football to the NFL. That's not even close and I like watching college football, sometimes college ball seems more exciting then the NFL but the level of talent is night and day.... see Tim Tebow

You were supposed to be buying into this a year ago. You're now a full year late in your thinking.

THIS year was the year you should have been not paying and pushing them. And now you may have missed the window.

If the Jets do okay this year, you missed the window. But come to think of it, you probably didn't miss the window, so disregard this post.

Next year is plenty of time to not pay the invoice and then tell them to go screw themselves unless you get Row 4 between the 40s. We're not doing shit this year and there will be more defections in January.

Nah 314 has plenty of time IMHO cause we should go 6-10 or even lower this year which mean another mass exodus next renew season as well. In fact Woody may even be more desperate then he was this renew season

You could be right. And I agree with very little you have to say lately, but you could be right about this one.

Its not the end of the world if I don't move. I love my seat location and I am not sure I want to pay another $20 per ticket to move down to Upper prime. Not really sweating it if I miss the boat. I hope we go 12-4 and win the super bowl and I am stuck in row 8.... not that's going to happen

But had you been willing to put your balls on the line, you could have been "stuck in" row 5 and closer to the 50 when that Superbowl comes along.

I'm saying, you push these freaking bastards every year and as hard as you can. Don't ever let up and don't ever become complacent and willing to let them put you where they want you. Those days are over and they drew "first blood," don't forget that.

You are right about that, they screwed me and gave me tickets side end zone after 31 years in the new palace. Took me 3 years and lots of bitching to get to this point.

When the latest post is by Champ and it stands all day and says "Please disregard," then this thread is in jeopardy. I'm not using the word "doomed," mind you, but we all know we are in serious trouble with this entire thread if the conversation sits with a meaningless Champ post that long.

Maybe it's just the summer doldrums or the fact that some (or many) of us have been able to relocate. And maybe it's the Jets... we need so much to be competitive. Whatever it is, we can't let a Champ post stand for 8 hours that says "Please disregard."
