So the 6ers have a love affair with broken big men apparently.

Come on, I want Pierce and Garnet to leave the division, not move to a better team in it. Their performance did drop, but they were without their main PG most of the year. Pierce can still make big shots. That team will be scary, even if Garnett comes off the bench. The knicks are going to draft a BIG first round, guaranteed. Although I'd kinda like Hardaway Jr just because his dad was really good back in the day, despite playing for that shithole franchise in southern florida.

According to @mysportslegion, Boston and Brooklyn have agreed to send Garnett and Pierce to Brooklyn. It hinges on Garnett though still, he must accept.

Do the right thing, Garnett! Reject it! Or just bail on the celtics as they plummet to nothing just like the coach.

The Nets IMO would be the #2 team in the East and the biggest threat to the Heat. The East will be VERY competitive with the Bulls getting healthy and the Pacers young core growing.

Mason Plumlee is a guy who greatly benefited by not having fouls called on him. He won't have that luxury in the NBA. He can move for a big man but his defense isn't NBA caliber defense. It's I play at Duke and they don't call fouls on me for being too physical defense.

I like the pick guys...Hes got the clutch gene and he is very productive. Wont shy away in a big game...Just needs to improve consistency and attack.

    The irony though

    Knicks solid draft pick.

The Spurs look like they got something good, but the guy likely isnt coming over soon.

Garnett will agree to the trade according to sources.

Pressure officially on Brooklyn to bring the title to NY. IMO they are the biggest competition in the East the Heat will have to face under the big 3 era.

Ill guess I say it right now despite it being premature, barring ANY major shakeup, the Nets will win the east in one of the next 2 years. They have 2 years to do it, I believe they will win the East.

Yeah so Jason Terry, Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett are going to the Nets for Wallace, Kris Humpries, Reggie Evans and 3 1st rounders.

How do the knicks respond now?

Knicks shouldnt be responding to the Nets. I think the goals for both teams are to win the championship.

I know the Knicks fans dont want to hear it, but Brooklyn has done a much better job than the Knicks. Both these teams had nothing, hell no one wanted to even join the Nets, at least Melo forced his way to the Knicks. The Nets stayed ultra agressive by trading for Deron, trading for Joe Johnson(bad contract&all), convincing Deron to stay and now this move puts the Nets closer to the title.

Nets gambled alot and its paid off. That trade for Deron was so risky but gotta give em credit,

Give it another three years and the Spurs' entire roster will speak French.
