It appears that the curse of the Bambino has now become the curse of the Tim Tebow... Removes Tin Foil Hat..
So if he happens to be acquired on all charges, do we go get him? He would solve all of our problems at tight end instantly.
This guy is fucked. Whether he gets charged with murder or not, he's screwed. Not only is this a HUGE mark on his resume, but he has had 2 other accidents with guns. This guy is a pure hoodlum and does not belong in NFL. I believe his career is over.
Tebow fans must be going crazy. Timmy and Tommy Quarterback and Tight End. It's a match made in heaven
Personally I would hope not. That's being said it's a logn way before we get to whether his charges stick or not so let's not argue about hypotheticals yet. As far as I know they haven't even said what he has been arrested for: murder or obstruction of justice.
The obstruction charge will stick. The ramifications from that can range far and wide. As far as being charged with the murder? I guess we'll just have to see if there's enough evidence against him for the DA to prosecute.
According to Erik Frenz twitter "Fox 25 reports Aaron Hernandez is headed to Bristol County Jail after arraignment. No bail situation."
Its going to be a murder charge. They would have let him put his shirt on if it was only going to be obstruction of justice. The way they took him in looks like he is suspect #1.
Incorrect. To continue to argue that the Patriots may not handle the Aaron Hernandez situation properly would be wrong just as much as denying the Patriots' recent history of troubled players who don't fit the mold of 'TPW'. Yes, they deserve credit for swiftly cutting him despite the financial ramifications, that much should be stated, but that doesn't explain Dennard or Stallworth or Ochocinco or Talib or Spygate or Robert Kraft simultaneously honoring his deceased wife with MHK patches on NE jerseys and patches of semen on the dress of his 32-year old girlfriend. As for any NYJ fans speculating on potentially acquiring Hernandez if he's acquitted: if that's the case I'm still assuming he at least contributed to Lloyd's murder in some way or helped cover it up regardless of whether his attorney is good enough to get him off or whether the State puts together a solid case. Picking up Hernandez would make no sense and would be classless. On a related note, Cleveland has cut undrafted FA rookie LB Ausar Walcott after he was charged with attempted murder in Jersey http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9...kie-arrested-tuesday-charged-attempted-murder
I think so too which makes me think they got the gun...or witnesses that will survive the snicker test.
(Edit: This clearly has been posted, but here's a link for you.) Don't know if this has been posted, but-- Report: Hernandez to be arraigned and then held without bail http://www.yardbarker.com/nfl/artic...leading_to_murder_charge_speculation/13916752 https://twitter.com/ocktalks/status/349925533078917121 Mark Ockerbloom @ocktalks Sources tell Fox 25 Aaron Hernandez will be taken to the Bristol County House of Correction following his arraignment in Attleboro. #Fox25
If he is held without bail it would also mean not just any murder charge but a charge of 1st degree murder.
