Exactly. Mark is not a QB that can win without talent, news flash 95% QB's cant! But hey, we are beating a dead horse here. Some on this board just want Mark out and are too emotional about it to see the logic. logic is, When Mark had some supporting weapons (Holmes, Edwards, Cotch, LT, TJ, Faneca, Woody) he was a more than servicable QB. Since then he has had a revolving door and the entire play of the O has suffered. If you cant understand that then I dont know what to tell you. Success in the NFL is all about consistency and continuity, something the Jets D has had (hence the consistent performance) and something the O has not had...
Trent Dilfer had more Super Bowl wins than Brad Johnson heading into the 2001 season. That didn't mean anything in the overall context of their respective chances to win one moving forward. Sanchez playoff wins mean nothing at this point. They're an odd little statistic unlikely to be repeated and reflecting more on Rex Ryan's defense than on anything Sanchez ever did.
whatever you want to believe. And while the Defense has CONTINUED to consume draft picks the O has been a revolving door. But hey you are right... If Mark had weapons I wuld be right there with you, fact is he hasnt and the D has. What do you expect
LOL. Exactly. This is our captain, leader and face of the franchise. And I'm sure Rex in typical clown fashion will just joke it off when asked about it.
As a result of guys lacking the ability to get open/runinng the wrong routs/not catching the ball, guys not blocking, RB's not able to pick up a blitz; and some are on Mark as well (insert the buttfumble joke). This is a fucking team sport, if not why not play 1 on 11? QB VS the entire D? Please explaine how Geno or another QB would be sucessful in this situation? Seriously, defend how other QB's could have taken us to the playoffs with what Mark had the past 2 seasons....good luck
you guys need to stop. this is not football related and it doesnt fucking matter. mark sanchez for all of his suckiness has been committed, he has always done the work. he just sucks at it even though he does the work. do you guys study for your job all day and night and never do anything else? i mean jesus h christ the guy is a dipshit but he cant do football 24/7
He is. If you value rings over stats. His brother is a notorious choke artist, where Eli, due to luck, balls,or circumstance, hasnt choked.
I don't really. Measuring rings are a simpletons approach to the game. If you think super bowl wins are the only thing that matters, then you must believe Terry Bradshaw was better than Dan Mario, which is ludicrous. At the end of the day, the whole of a players career should be considered when evaluating him. That means his stats, his wins, his losses, what type of supporting cast he had, etc. The same goes for coaches. Mark Sanchez lost two AFCC games, is he a choke artist too?
In the unedited version there's a part where he runs full speed into one of the chicks' asses and spills his beer all over the floor...
Really, now you guys are just making shit up, bc you are Genoballwashers. Sanchez spends hos own cash to finance Jets west, according to Nick Mangold, (who apparently knows shit) hes got MMs offense down, and Geno, according to his position coach, is having a bit of sifficulty making the transition to NFL offense (cant blame Geno for the college system, bu at least realize it) Sanchez and his work ethic, or practice performance, have never been questioned. Its his crappy game days, that have generated this near 600 page thread. When even a guy like Alleycat, who hates him....disagrees with you...a reality check os on order. Geno has a slightly better chance of beating out Sanchez, than I do of beating Mike Tyson in a bar fight.
You are seriously comparing that Ravens defense, or Offense for that matter to anying he Jets have put on the field? :rofl2:. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2000_Baltimore_Ravens_season What, a half dozen hall of fame players on the roster Ismail, taylor,Sharpe, lewis on the offensive side of the ball, around the QB. Yeah, real good comparison.
I'm not going to explain that because that is irrelevant, I can't explain a situation that didn't happen. I know what I've seen, and I've seen Sanchez turn the ball over more than any other QB in the league the past 2 years. Do you honestly believe that he has had the worst supporting cast in the league? The skill positions were bad last year, but he had a better O-line than a number of other QB's, and that was just last year. He was awful 2 years ago as well, when we had decent (enough) skill players, and had good protection. And I never mentioned playoffs, I just said that his turnovers have cost us games, which is true. Do me a favor since I can't post links yet. Go to youtube and search "The worst of Mark Sanchez 2012" and tell me what you see
