if he was a Jet we'd see a million excuses too. Braylon didn't kill someone(he could have) but the excuses for him after the DUI were pathetic.

If he was a Jet, his ass would be chilling in jail somewhere while Goodell would be holding a press conference saying he is banned from the NFL forever regardless if he is convicted of murder or not.. This dude should be banned from all football activities until a verdict is reached. I haven't heard the NFL say shit yet.

How do you figure? Forget if he was a Jet. Lets say any other team in the NFL. The NFL would have suspended him indefinitely until more information about the case came out. This guy is over here destroying evidence. This isn't a simple DUI or Dog Fighting case we are talking about here. This is murder!

No they wouldn't have, the case is brand new. They have to allow it to play out, he may be innocent? we don't know yet.

With all the signs pointing his way, I feel like if they dont have enough to arrest for murder now then he's probably not going to be. Who knows.

I would have said the same thing until he started breaking phones and destroying security systems.. There is nothing innocent about that. The truth will be revealed soon enough..

He at least is getting some time for obstruction of evidence/justice.. That is a considerable amount of jail time right there without the murder charge. Chances are he rats out the other two to get his time in jail lessened.

It's not looking good but did the NFL suspend Goodson? No, they have to allow the case to play out.

I think when there is a murder case going on you should be suspended. Murder cases and gun in the car while I am drunk cases are much different.

so let's say he is completely innocent, would it be fair to have suspended him? they have to allow all the info to come out.

Innocent of trashing his security system?
    Innocent of trashing his cellphone?
Innocent of having his house scrubbed Monday by professional cleaners?

Each is an act of obstruction. He is guilty of something.

There could be some weird explanation, we don't know. It looks bad but they have to let this play out. To pretend like the NFL is harder on our guys than others is just silly. There is absolutely no evidence of it. Separate football from real life for once, you will feel like better human beings.

I'm sure the cops are asking and also when they were called to come. Still, no matter how good they may be there would probably still be residual evidence that the FBI forensics lab will find.
